On the 24th September 2001 Live-eviL made it's first release. ex.Driver 01 was L-E's first release (of course it's licensed now)

Been a long time ne?

Does anyone here actually remember our first release? I've only been here for about 2.5 years.

My first of L-E was indeed Ex-Driver... grabbed 1-3 and went from there

Another memorable one was the YUA batch.

And we released Mami 47 on L-E's 5th birthday. Fifth... How cute!

Yeah. I remember subbing away with Tofu. I think I started with Second Season of You're under Arrest and helping tofu grow L-E! I'm glad you guys are keeping it going even without tofu around.

Yea treasure 'em till you could treasure no more.

Then give them to your grandchildren to treasure. I wonder how many more years we will be around. I guess till all the Japanese anime companies decide to put C & D on people fansubbing their stuff, e.g. like Media Factory Inc? In which case, end of fansubbing.

That might be true normally, however I joined this forum to communicate to it's members regardless of DN releases...of course I like watching it so soon after its' released but if it does get licensed C'est la Vie.

I've been in here since Summer 2003....so more than 3 years. Tanman and Tofu recruited me. I became interested in L-E after seeing their WR encodes and got in touch with, hmmm, I think Tanman, who then introduced me to Tofu.

I started editing in place of mamo for Persia, then mamo returned from whatever hiatus he was in at the time, and I became jobless for a bit. Then I became coeditor of Chacha OVA with Mamo. Chacha Ova took about 2 years to complete only 3 20-minute eps (Tofu's comp crashed+Tofu went MIA).

Now I'm supposedly qcing DN and distroing DN, but I'm still not being used in an editor role...weird story, ne?

Oh, believe me, I've spent many many weeks joining the chan, begging for work, and being shelved. No offense to anyone but Tofu being AWOl 90% of the time was part of the problem.
