I just don't want Ray to get killed...  :'( He's such a nice guy so far, and wasn't Light's initial goal to make the world a better place by killing only the bad people? If he kills Ray, he's totally breaking his own rules.  :-\

I got ahold of the manga, and in the chapter where Light's saying he's going to kil all the criminals with a heart attack, he also says he'll make the useless people die of illness. Makes ya think he's a biiiit meaner that he's letting on.

When he is eventually found out, it'll be interesting to see what they'll do to him, as it'll be a bit...*shrug* odd to just...kill him for mass murder, that's that. Who knooows. Maybe they'll join him with his quest for a perfect world!

Hmm, I kinda got to like Ray. It will be kinda wrong for Light to just kill him off now, would'nt it?  8)

Maybe.. stick his eyes out? Well, maybe not that, but make him blind. then he'd be quite harmless ;)

I think he will kill ray shortly. He's to obsessed with not letting anyone pose a threat to him to take any chances.

I also belive he'll get way too tangled up in his own plots soon to keep himself hidden.

The manga is amazing. I will not spoil what's to come in the anime.

But I think if something like the Death Note actually existed, it would be quite hard to say what you'd do with it. Hmm...there's a good question! If you had a Death Note, what would you do with it?

but it's very controversial topic, so it's probably best one not discussed.

Well, having a Death Note is of-course a sign that you're getting into something bad. I guess I'll kill someone I really really hate, like only one or two person....still regretting later that I killed them. ~_~---then be done with it and bury it deep somewhere >_>

I think I would start off as a hitman.

"Just put 300.000USD in my bank deposit box. Suply name and a picture of the face of the target. Also any details regarding the suroundings of the death. I will then execute this order within a week."

Death note is a great anime, i'm really enjoying it. You are doing a great job with the subs _o_
If i had a Death Note, i'ld be God :P Maybe i would do the same as Light, killing the criminals is a good thing, at least the worse criminals, and those who are 'imune' to human justice.

great power brings great evil :P maybe is not good enough to handle such power (and who is? lol). And i kind of understand, he have 'his mission', and to achieve it, he have to survive (if he's discovered he'll die, right?).
