Tsubasa Chronicle 2nd Season MASTER THREAD
rebecca191:
Yay! Ashura country is coming up! I'm happy about that.
And yeah, I am one of those Tsubasa fans that doesn't watch too much other anime... but honestly... I am more a manga/RPG video game person.. so, whatever...
I watched the raw of the new episode and eh, I wasn't that interested, I think the worlds created in the manga tend to be better...

SailorYue:
ashura country is a rather darker arc, which is probably why they delayed it and ran the piffle world arc (also probably to reel in all the CCS fans to see tomoyo act like tomoyo-chan and such) i hope they give all the kurofainess of the shura arc.
i klnow a place that has the maga posted online, but for licencing rules its probably not right for me to POST it...PMing is another thing...
im sorry to be beggy, but i still need info on all the CLAMP cameos. itll help my guide, or someone can just submit it to my guide: http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-2423please and thankyou
Lumivalkea:
For the cameos, do check out Wikipedia's TRC page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsubasa:_RESERVoir_CHRoNiCLE
It's probably quite manga heavy, but it has a list of crossover charactes in each world.

--- Quote from: Eolo on May 18, 2006, 01:17:58 am ---Having been a CLAMP fan for many years, I have to agree that Tsubasa isn't their most brilliant masterpiece, for those who've read all their other mangas and followed their work, it's refreshing to see many characters we've loved in the past, slightly revamped and ALIVE again.
For many, it's kinda chic to complain about Tsubasa and/or CLAMP works, basicaly because when something has become too much mainstream, it's not so cool to like anymore (I'm not pointing any fingers, this is a "if the shoe fits" argument), also many people complain that CLAMP have became sellouts, which they might, but they still do make gorgeous art (at least for me) and no matter how many clichés they insert here and there, they are great artists and have joined many other artists that at least we should acknowledge what they have achieved.
Also, I would like to thank L-E for their work in subbing Tsubasa, being late now or not it doesn't matter. People not always understand the fact that fansubbers do this for free and also to share. If you're in that much of a hurry, watch the raws. I always watch the raws and patiently wait for the fansubbed version to arrive. Patient is a virtue, and you should be thankful that so many people take time out of their lives to share their work with you.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not turning fansubbers into deities we should worship, but being one myself, at least some respect would be appreciated.
Sorry for the long post.

I completely agree with you. I've been following Tsubasa since maybe I think Chapter 3 or maybe 6 was released in Japan, through the wonderful world of scans =D. I always believed it was really just made as a way to please all of us old time CLAMP fans. Yes, it's not that wonderful, it does have his flaws that I could probably tick off but I will spare you. I just think the simple wonderfulness of it is just that it has our favorite characters in such different roles. I think just that idea itself is representing what CLAMP's bringing about in Tsubasa, maybe the idea of fate and how different one thing could make your whole life. I don't know but I enjoy the series and I am thankful to Live-evil for bringing as much as possible to us. Yes, it would be nice to have 29 soon but for a free service to us they can take as long as they want. It's just nice that they are even doing such a thing and using so many resources and time just so that we can watch these episodes for free. That's enough for me.
