Hmm I suppose yeah. The last episode of season 2 said nothing about season 3 and it sounded more like they were ending it there. If it IS cancelled, then they probably decided about cancelling it mid-season when the filler arcs were ruining the show badly (hence lack of popularity...personally I was bored by Season 2 as well but since Season 3 was going to be final, had hopes for it :/).

I would be extremely sad if Clamp canceled the anime... I don't think they will cancel the manga, so at least there is that.... and, yes... I would be happy if Tofu came back on board for Tsubasa S3.
