It seems that 2046 will be out this year for real unless its genius director decides to edit the film into a totally new one.  For now you can view clips thanks to this Dutch website.  http://www.cinema.nl/cinema/persons/index.jsp?persons=6162498

I saw Woman under the Influence.  Such an amazing film.  Some people just have true talent when it comes to making movies.

It's about a woman who has a mental illness and the effect it has on her family, and the things that trigger off her breakdown  and the results it causes.

spymon's movie sounds good.

this thread should be called "crypticgimp, kabbage and spymon's chat" as we are the only ones talking.  special guests are those we chimed in as well.

Yes, Kitano is always great.  zatoichi was fun, saw that a few months back with some rather yucky subs on it.

I still need to see Dolls.

look cryptic, I added the "real" topic :D
just showed full metal jacket to my gf, that's another good movie (has it been mentioned already) by kubrik.
another movie i enjoyed recently was "the stepford wives" (even though it was a little inconsistent...)
haven't really laughed that hard in a movie theatre for a while... of course that was shrek 2.
if you guys havent seen battle royal you should see it. it's got that japanese girl in it that plays the crazy "spiky metal ball at the end of a chain" weapon wielding subordinate of lucy liu in kill bill.
and yes, i wrote the above to hurt your eyes. :P

I saw Dolls, possibly one of the best films of recent  times.
