Ok, one vote per person.  The live-action stuff and anything else won't fit on the poll, so you can complain in your reply if you want.

Someone should start a favourite Magical Girl series thread as well.

My vote goes to Yawara!

It's the best series on that list. :D

spiral was good. especially when i randomly found all the eps raw on my computer ;D

daq is a lil goofy but the puzzles are often understandable. spiral was a bit out there, yes.

my vote went to phantom though, mm mm assasins.
Well on my way to 100! (Ever so slightly out of date)

For Spiral: http://www.denkyu.com/december2003/10.html  If I've not already forced you to read it!  I missed Initial D from the poll as a favour to mikala as I know how much he loves it.

i have several problems with this article.  first,  your grammar is terrible and it needed to be edited further as far as spelling etc (ohyes i am a nitpicker!)

second,  when you said "In christian philosphy a missing rib is representative of original sin and man's betrayal of God resulting in the loss of immortality"  NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!  the missing rib is when God put man to sleep and took one of his ribs and made woman.  the original sin occured when they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and it was then that they lost their innocence and God punished them by kicking them out of the garden of eden (he felt that if they ate that fruit then they may also eat from the tree of life making them like gods) and  other punishments were given out i.e pain during childbirth etc.

as far as the background in mythology or knowing the meaning of flowers then umm i am not one for that.  but i did get everything else and i see how they apply but i still didnt like the series as much as DAQ.

Hmm, that article was edited by me twice and by the denkyu editor...  (maybe you can be my new editor) I need to shoot both myself and him.  The myth stuff I got off the web from a number of sources which they decided not to credit in the final version of the article.  Anyway, I just wanted to prove there was something in Spirl.

i'll edit your stuff for you if you want...

but you, of all people, should know that when you are going to try to make references or prove something with outside information, that information MUST be correct.

i totally saw and appreciate you giving meaning to the show, however it all went kaput as soon as you used erroneous information, especially when that info is in a publication.  sorry if i was a bitch  :-/
