Could I resume the BT downloading?
« on: October 06, 2004, 01:03:42 am »
Recently my computer went silly. ;D

It sometimes just hanged/knocked out and I have to redownload the whole file again.

Is there anyway or is it able to resume the download from where I stopped(from where it stopped coz my computer knocked)

Thanks for any answer  ;)

ps : please forgive me if my English confused you, my English is quite weak.

Yes you can. Just tell your BT client where you downloaded the file to before your computer crashed. it should start resuming automatically =]

Would you mind explaining me how to tell the client step by step? :-[

I'm quite new about the BT, so I know nothing about it. :-[

All I know is just only how to start download the file at the begining :-[

Thanks for any answer and apologize for troubling you guys. :'(

ps : In case that it's different in how to resume the BT download I'm downloading [ass]Captain Harlock whick it comes as a pack, so you can explain to me properly.

THANKS AGAIN

sure, could you stop using that orange font though, it's very hard to read.

resuming a download is just like starting a download.
1. you open a torrent
2. you tell the client which folder to save to. if the file already exists, the client will resume.

in case you still don't know how to do it, please tell me what client you are using as that is needed to do further troubleshooting.

Thanks for your answer and sorry for using Orange color.

I'm using Btornado.

I'm gonna try to resume first and then I'll inform you later whether I fail or success.

THANKS. ;D
