For the 2nd stage ID game, do you need to mod your ps2? or are the copies being sold on e-bay cracked and re-burned?

There is no stage two or Special Stage 2 game, but for any of the PS2 Initial D games (ones by avex), you'll have to mod your PS2...  (PSP games like Street Stage from Japan, you don't have to downgrade to Ver1.5 You can play it on your 2.7 or 3.5/3.9)
