I wonder what would happen if Captain Harlock had to fight Dr. Rin?

They'd be fighting to decide who deserves to be more loved by you?  :P

It would never happen. Harlock isn't the type to fight a little girl ;)

I wonder what would happen if Captain Harlock had to fight Dr. Rin?

To start with, they would do a lot of talking while they manouvered around each other. (Talking is required in fight scenes.) Pretty soon, they would discover they aren't enemies. I see it ending with a sun set picnic on the sea shore, with Harlock's young lady friend invited along.

It is not stalled. It has all the necessary staff and raws and such. Right now the issue is just the fact that everyone working on it has very busy lives, so stuff will be going slowly right now.  :-\ But episodes 8 and 9 are being worked on at the moment, so please be patient with us. We will get them released as soon as we can.  :D

so the last time I asked was october 30, and I see the project status still hasn't changed from translation check stage.

do you guys need more translation checkers? it's possible I could help, although I'm not sure howuseful I'd be.
I don't know japanese too well, but I could tell you if the english makes sense.

anyways, thanks for all the wonderful anime you guys release! DN and Galaxy Express 999 ROCK!!

(and so does dr. rin)

Well, to answer your question, the status for Ask Dr. Rin does not necessarily change to reflect progress through different stages for an episode, because the project manager is not from this group and does not post project updates on this site. As of now though, episode 8 is at editing, episode 9 is at tl check, and episode 10 is at translation.

This show is one of the ones that is most special to me. I heard about it, tracked it down and discovered it was being released by the group I had recently started working in.

Small world.

/blows in with the wind to check

Ugh ... almost painfull to read how little progress has been made even after more staff jumped on. This is not a stab at the people working on it as I know how real life business can cut into ones other pasttimes, but it sure is somewhat disheartening to see after I got my hopes up on more and quicker releases. Assuming and hoping that L-E finishes this off I think I'm better off collecting the series first and then start watching it taking into account the release 'schedule'.

Now that you guys dropped Death Note I sort of hope that some of the people working on that can help out on this one ... or Tsubasa Chronicle 2nd Season for that matter as I'd love to see you finish that one as well.

Anyway, just posting my 2cts worth along with others and I'll check by in about 3 months or so to see how things stand. In the meantime ... thanks for everything sofar.
