Live-eviL Homepage hacked

It would appear that we've suffered a PHP/SQL exploit of some kind on our homepage and the wordpress news publishing system.

Please bear with us untill someone with webadmin access is available to fix this issue.

If anyone knows the identity of these script kiddies please provide any information you may have in email to mikala@live-evil.org so he can report them to the appropriate authorities.

Well, I hope for everyone's sake that it wasn't something that caused spewing. Needless to say hacking is lame, I hope you catch the guys that did it.

We wotn catch the hacker unlest their si a resodent hacker here that would wanna go and do us revenge. Or maybe one of you knows a hacker. :P

Sorry to split hairs here, so to speak, but a hacker is a programmer, a cracker is someone who compromises data integrity... The media gets the two terms mixed up...

Also, script kiddies are a different "breed" all together... And should die!

Wouldn't your server provider have logs of the connections/disconnections at the time of the attack? It'd narrow down the IP's a bit, then all you do is put IP to user to figure out any forum members from the rest, then go from there... But knowing the volume of traffic that can be done, still a needle in a haystack

Still buttom line is if you wnat the hacker/craker to get nailed we need our own resident hackers/crakers to goa nd kill him. Other then that hell just move on the next site and daface it to.
