Hey Matsumoto fans! Good news! I've just been given word that the newly formed Matsumoto Divison has been given control over the releases of GE999. That means REGULAR releases like our Harlock! 
Although, its going to slow down our SPECIAL HIDDEN SUPER SECRET Matsumoto project sleeping in the backround a little. ^_^.

I'm from Argentina and saw Captain Harlock when I was a little child in early 80´s, never see the show again and I was dreaming to do it... now I can do it again, Thankssss!!!

I just download all the files available and I will keep them running all the time for sharing...

Please just one little question...  on episode "1" I only found sound options in MONO and in 5.1, the stereo option is off... is this right? in all the other files I see all the sound options including stereo... The quality is great !!

This is amazing and I´m so happy! Hope to see more episodes soon...

Be sure to check out Space Symphony Maetel and other Matsumto Releases, as they often contain cameos from CAPTAIN HARLOCK. 
Spread the word too; We only have an audience of about 1.5k: We need to catch up to the other animes who net MANY thousands of DLs.

My story is more or less like Vikingo's, just like him I saw Captain Harlock when I was a little child in early 80´s, but not from Argentina, from Greece. Unfortunatelly the greek television, to the best of my knowlege never showed all the episodes of Harlock, they just kept showing the same episodes over and over again.

As you can understand I am a Harlock fan, ever since i got broadband access I searched all over the net and got everything I could get my hands on related to Harlock. I believe I got almost everything with the exeption of the "original" 1978 series that I saw as a child and loved so much.

What I would really like to see in my life time would be all the episodes of 1978's Captain Harlock series, and that is what I hope the Matsumoto division will eventually accomplish.

Well, there is ALOT of stuff out there involving him, considering Leiji has a way of putting him in everything else as a cameo. I cannot say much now, but I will give a suggestive  at the notion of us having the resources and plans to tackle many more of his tales later on.

I have seen everything that plays in the Harlock/999/Yamato(yep kiddies,same universe  ) since I was a kid in the 70's & the later stuff that was/is fansubbed so far

as for the cameos,Harlock even showed his face in Space Battleship Yamato at some point(I got a pic if anyone wants it)

We started doing the 2.0 stereo track in Episode 2. When we go back and redo the previous releases with the R2 DVD source, I'll be sure to add a 2.0 track to episode 1.
