hi guys! great job you've done here with tsubasa...
there are some complains about why you wrote the name "Fye" instead of "Fai" and there's i've though about it.. and i should say i'ld like *FYE* better, please
keep that one..
***here's my theory: japanese is a phonetic languaje, so the right translation would be "Fai" but with that, the american people (english spoken) could pronounce it wrong, since in that languaje, one thing is the spelling and the other is the pronounciation, so, with the translation "Fye" you make sure everybody pronounces the name the right way, the way CLAMP intended
***and finally, "Fye" is cute, it seems more fiting, more exotic, just feels right

I read somewhere that CLAMP romanized Fye's name as "Fai" on their website.  But I like Fye better too.

We're just gonna stick to what we feel is best, not draw on any one source specifically. Like I prefer Syaoran, but I like Yuuko better than Yuko. And Dimensional Witch is better than "Space & Time Witch" I think...

[On a more serious note. We’ve been taking a lot of flack, being accused of being “speedsubbers", etc… I can personally vouch for the]
You forgot to state the obvious explanation...

We spend more time on this than any other group I know of.

By running in circles repeatedly, our pig creates a 'hole' or 'gap' in time which members then use to carefully sub the episode in a quality fashion.  Relatively speaking, we spent about 9 days to sub this episode.  If you don't believe me, here is a picture of our pig

The groups that accuse us of speedsubbing, they spend about 2 or 3 days.

Would you be willing to join the QC team and help go over the translation/editing on a weekly basis? And maybe you can even help with the translation as a backup! I know in a few weeks I am going to be away for a little bit, so it'd be very helpful :)

You'll need to learn to use irc though, if you have never done it. Do you know how to use irc?

If so, come to #live-evil on irc.enterthegame.com and message me, Tofusensei. :) Otherwise say you need help here and I'll walk you through it!

I'd love to!  And yes, I'm quite familiar with IRC, so that's no problem.  I'll sign on in just a moment.  :)

Just curious, what speed/type is your processor?

I couldn't play it on my Pentium III 933 without it lagging either ><

-Tofu

Hey Tofu,
Hehe I like Tofu.

I'm pretty sure my computer is Pentium III as well, and about 733 MHz.  I've only been having this problem recently.  I'm downloading a program Ichigo_Kurosaki suggested in the above posts.

If that doesn't work are you suggesting I get more RAM or something?

Thanks!

I am 100% positive they will release a soundtrack CD (or many CDs) for this show eventually :) You can buy them, or even pre-order, from places like cdjapan or yesasia! ^^
