wow episode 2 was cool I like the fire wolf/ guardian thingy that appeared.

Many more thanks to Ichigo_Kurosaki.  I downloaded that program he suggested and my files play as smooth as ever!

Ano --- I hate to be a pain in the ass but I tried downloading Ep 2.  I got the error message:
IO Error [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor.  Any ideas on what to do?

It was all the way up to 57% too.  ;\
This isn't cause of my 4 year old computer is it?  xD

You're crazy, cryptic, .hack//SIGN rocked. :P

Anyway, it's interesting to see how the series is deviating from the manga (don't care about Del Ray, I gots the real stuff here) since I usually don't compare the two forms, much less on a step-by-step basis. But don't kid yourselves -- you guys ARE speedsubbing Tsubasa. Out in less than 24 hours from the time it aired? Yeah, I think that'd qualify. That doesn't necessarily speak for the quality, though, and I won't bother getting into that. People will whine, and they will bitch, no matter what you do.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

The word "speedsubbing" has taken on a lot of implications from AnimeJunkies, Bakasan, other fansubbers in the past... "Subbing with speed" and "speedsubbing" are very different things IMO. That's why I say we're not "speedsubbing" per se, that's all.

Could we do a better job on Tsubasa if we took more time? Of course.
Could we do a better job on 100% of our projects if we took more time? Absolutely.

There's nothing unique about it, except we work extra hard in a short period of time. We spend more time on one episode of Tsubasa than we do on one episode of Initial D 4th stage... Of course there are not many translators nearly as good as Eclipse (ID4 translator), so we're at a disadvantage starting out, but you get the idea.

Were you downloading on bit torrent? I suggest trying it on bit torrent again and seeing what happens!

And I knew it was 4 years old from the age of the processor, hehe. Cause I have the same one!! :)

Yoten: yes i am crazy, tho thanks for reminding me :P  and wow i must say qcing this show is alot different than the others as it is so quick.  i dont really feel as if my qc reports are as good as, say, dr rin.  but i love it just for the experience itself and, hopefully, as the show goes on i can do just as good of a job qcing super fast as i do (or like to think i do) on our other projects.

oh i also forgot to say that ep 2 has alot of "my penis is bigger than your penis! lets do battle to see who is on top!" type comments/actions.  which is very amusing.

Update:

In the terrible engrish song in episode 3, there is a line we had transribed as

"In the hearts we are one for love melody"

After many many subsequent listenings, it's actually "In the hearts we evolve, for love melody"

Don't ask me why I can understand that engrish ><

Hey, just registered. Great work on Tsubasa!

Just thought I'd a my 2 cents on a few things...

If these characters are from different dimensions, then wouldn’t there be the possibility that the Dimension witch has multiple names? I think I read that somewhere in the manga.

As for Fai, I happen to like Fai, sounds more Japanese than Fye, and if Clamp translated that way, then I'd go with Clamps translation... (but then again it'll kind of aggravate me  if I start hearing people mispronounce his name so... either or works).

And hey, do you guys have any idea why I can download at like 200- 500 kb/s but no matter how high I set my max upload rate( currently set at 200kb/s, it only uploads at like 52-55 kb/s max? Even when I'm not downloading anything? I'd kind of like to help out as much as possible.
