your right his eye isn't glass he is just blind in his right eye, the reason they made it all shiney is cause they probably wanted to try to make it look glazed over...or something like that

*pops in* Mainly wanted to say the fansub is great. Just got episode 17, gonna go watch it.

I've got the manga book right here, guys... He's just blind in that eye. The paleness of his eye (I think) is because of something that often happens to blind people, though usually only in those who were blind before birth, which is a lack of pigmentation in that eye. Its from a particular condition, though I don't know the name. While not everyone blind has this lack of pigmentation, its a feature that has often been used to indicate blindness in American movies as well as in anime.

<.< My question: I'm interested in doing some Tsubasa AMVs... does anyone know where I can find raws of them? (Sorry if I'm not allowed to ask that here.) I've found 15-17, but I'd like the first 14 too... Though I'm sure it'll be impossible to find a clean opening and ending ^.^;

You know, I delete my raws as a rule. However, the DVDs are coming out this month, so you could always buy those and support the show ^^;

Ah, so hes blind in 1 eye and cant see depth very well then, thats why he focuses on kicking, becouse he cant miss with that if he cant see depth

Err i dunno certainyl not me. sprts aren't worth watchign on TV i'd rater be doing them. And i can't belive bassaball is takign over the hottes anime in town at teh moment. (but that's my personal opinion.)

Americans, for one. Ever hear of the Little League World Series? It tends to get great ratings in America.

Regarding the show on DVD. Only the first DVD has 2 episodes, and its price has been adjusted to reflect that. Yeah, R2 dvds are expensive though ><

Japanese DVD's are ALWAYS region 2. If you've seen region 0 its a bootleg :/.

They're doing away with regions altogether from what i read.
That's why it was listed as region 0.
