shaky pan/scan in SSM7
« on: December 19, 2005, 11:26:33 pm »
Anyone else have this problem?  The OP/ED was fine, but the actual episode, practically every pan was very unsteady.  I'm using an ffdshow build for August b'cos when I upgraded to the latest version the OP/ED of SSM6 would get very shaky.  What ffdshow and other tools do I need to use to play this one back right and not wreck the older ones like SSM6?

Shaky as in the pans jerk? Any chance for a timestamp where you see shaky pans?

Practically everywhere in the show itself (not the OP/ED which are fine) where pans happen.

I can confirm that it does jerk and it seems be either a decimation problem (due to plugin miscalculation) or a source problem (it being hybrid with pans at 30).

Unfortunately I don't have the source verify whether it's hybrid or not, but I suspect it is.

Edit: Upon a closer look on the ep via directshowsource(), take 3:21 as a reference on ep 7, the frame pattern shows bad decimation as you do frame-stepping! Oh boy :/
