Hi everyone,

Thanks for your interrest in and your support to our series "Oban Star-Racers".
It finally premiered in France this month after 6 long years of developement and chaotic financing, and 2 and a half tough but wonderful years of production in Paris and Tokyo (where I have been living and working since with the rest of the STW team).
For your information the series has already been licensed in, as they say, "all major territories" and official dubs are currently under way for the US (recorded under my direct supervision), Japan etc...
I guess that doesn't make Oban a great choice of series for a fansub, but if you're just a little bit more patient, it will premiere near you very soon - and in your home language too.

Best to all.

Savin, thank you for posting on here. I've heard nothing but good things about the show so far and I look forward to seeing it in America. ^^

I hope you do not mind if we continue to hold on the the promo we did back when it was "Molly Star Racer" for nostalgia purposes.

Let me know if you ever need anything.

regarding savin's answer you've got your answer.
As we don't do licensed stuff , we're not going to take that show .

Hi hi,

As other people have said L-E is a strictly unlicensed only fansub group. We always respect the rights of licensors/creators and as such we won't be touching OSR. It's nice to see anime creators actually taking the time to have an open dialogue with fansubbers rather than the "hear no evil see no evil" policy which some of the major American companies have adopted of late. I thank you for taking the time to post to our forums.

We look forward to Oban Star Racers debut in the USA.

On a secondary note, if you would prefer us to take down the Molly Star Racers promo off the torrent page please send an email to either myself (gumbaloom@live-evil.org) or Tofusensei (tofusensei@live-evil.org) and we'll take it down ASAP.

Hi again everyone,

Thanks a lot for your comments.
I sure hope you'll enjoy Oban.
For those interrested in the show, we have a new trailer available for download on pocketmovies.net and for streaming on the french official website: www.obanstarracers.fr (where we'll also be posting soon an extract of the long version of the opening, with music by the great Yoko Kanno).

Best,

Savin

Say, could anyone seed the LE-sub of the original trailer for a little bit?  Myself and a few others have been stuck at 90% for several days.

I've  been watchin OSR on the Disney Channel and really want to watch the original trailer again in HQ.  (the youtube version is really grainy)

I love that trailer.  Besides introducing me to J-Pop & Ayumi Hamasaki it kickstarted an interest in celshading for me.

Thanks!

To whoever seeded this and let me complete (after nearly a week!)   Thank you!  I'll be sure to seed it for a long time.
