I notice the posting about new encoding with Yawara 14, but that one played fine as did Y15.
Yawara 16 is the first one I've had trouble with.
My machine at work generally plays everything properly through Windows Media Player 7, it does not play this file. I watched Yawara 1-15 at home using Virtual Dub because Media Player 9 sucks and won't play most fansubbed files, it won't play Yawara 16 either.
Suggestions?

Found my answers elsewhere.
Virtual Dub played Yawara 16 after I upped the codec to XviD 1.0 beta. (Those guys working on XviD complain about people making installers they don't like, but they don't make one of there own. Go figure.)
Media Player 9 works properly now that I have installed ffdshow version Alpha 1. That's been a long standing problem and I don't know why no one ever mentioned doing this the last several times I asked "What's up with crappy Media Player?".

where do I get the codec at?

I believe I got the ffdshow-alpha I'm using here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow
I tried the version just before this and it solved half my problem, alpha did the trick completely.
This site looks familiar, it may be where I got my XviD 1.0 beta from:
