I also think he's looking for Subaru and Hokuto, besides, Seishiro mentions that they're twins, at some point.

Honestly, if you don't want to read long posts... skip them.

However, if in the process the team has been annoyed, my sincere apologies.

"Tsubasa fans are pathetic husks of people who mindlessly bend and yield to the whims of Pop-culture..."

Or would this be flattery?

And therefore show it through insult.

When someone watches an overly popular anime like Sailormoon, Dragonball and now the likes of Bleach, Naruto and Tsubasa, some anime fans tend to point the finger at someone who only likes that show and has no broader view of everything anime has to offer. But that usually isn't the fault of the show per se, it's just that the person is usually close minded and is a fanboy/girl by nature.

They tick me off, they really do and the fact that they think that fansubbers have some sort of obligation to sub it at a certain speed is in the least ludicrous.

In some ways, the advance of internet technology and broadband has spoiled a vast number of fans.

Again, I sympathize, but if I were a moronic fan, I wouldn't care about whatever internal problems the fansub group has, specialy if it ends up catering to my personal taste.

I do hope you resolve it soon.

Well, I for one never actually needed L-E Fansubs to awaken the nostalgia feeling that old anime gives me. It's always been here.

And I won't even bother comparing a show like Tsubasa to Harlock of Galaxy Express, there's nothing to compare, they are different shows with different audiences, different themes, different moods, comparing them so that you could point out sentence by sentence how these shows are better seems to be an insane waste of time. I don't like Leiji Matsumoto, I never have and didn't have to wait for CLAMP or Tsubasa Chronicles to appear to reach that astounding conclusion, it's a matter of personal taste, being good or bad.

I understand your frustration, but like I mentioned before, if L-E didn't release Tsubasa, I would have watched the raws, just like I did with Utena back when it was being aired on japanese tv and I had to wait for VHS tapes. I appreciate the release and am grateful for it, but it's not my weekly fix.

I do however realize, that many of these "OMG! TSUBASA IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!" fans can be a little tiresome... remember though, that many are very young and everyone has to start somewhere.

I love old anime, I've grown with Candy Candy, Saint Seiya, Majokko no Meg-chan and so many others that it's just a part of my anime culture.

Still, I love Tsubasa and I love Nana, people who waste time insulting fans of a certain show have either low self-esteem or don't want to be confused with the so-called anime noob, so they revel in their elitist ways and fell all the better for it, and I'm so glad I give their life meaning and a reason for them to be special.

Don't get me wrong, I love Tsubasa Chronicles, and I agree that CLAMP got inspired in that whole Kingdom Hearts concept, at least in the begining they used to obsess a lot about video games (Sonic per example), so it's natural that they probably wanted to make something similar with Tsubasa and they do have a huuuuge array of characters.

One of the other good/bad parts about Tsubasa is the constant world shifting, Piffle world gave us a taste of the Sakura/Tomoyo relationship from Card Captor Sakura, Tomoyo's enthusiasm for Sakura was always hilarious in CCS and was revisited in Piffle world. However, I hated Piffle World both manga and anime, it was too Star Wars Pod Race for me.

Having been a CLAMP fan for many years, I have to agree that Tsubasa isn't their most brilliant masterpiece, for those who've read all their other mangas and followed their work, it's refreshing to see many characters we've loved in the past, slightly revamped and ALIVE again.

For many, it's kinda chic to complain about Tsubasa and/or CLAMP works, basicaly because when something has become too much mainstream, it's not so cool to like anymore (I'm not pointing any fingers, this is a "if the shoe fits" argument), also many people complain that CLAMP have became sellouts, which they might, but they still do make gorgeous art (at least for me) and no matter how many clichés they insert here and there, they are great artists and have joined many other artists that at least we should acknowledge what they have achieved.

Also, I would like to thank L-E for their work in subbing Tsubasa, being late now or not it doesn't matter. People not always understand the fact that fansubbers do this for free and also to share. If you're in that much of a hurry, watch the raws. I always watch the raws and patiently wait for the fansubbed version to arrive. Patient is a virtue, and you should be thankful that so many people take time out of their lives to share their work with you.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not turning fansubbers into deities we should worship, but being one myself, at least some respect would be appreciated.

Sorry for the long post.
