Current & Future L-E Projects / Re: Ask Dr. Rin Status

I died of shock today when I saw that Ask Dr. Rin 19 was released. I gave up all hope for this project in 2007 or whenever it was that everything stalled out on episode 11. Good work guys. At this rate there could be hope for me to see the entire thing before I die of old age ;)

Sorry for the long silence everyone! I was actually the one holding things up because I said I was timing an episode (which I was) but then I went AWOL for awhile. Sorry!  :'(

When it comes to this project there is a rather sad phenomena that we can not seem to overcome no matter how hard we try....  :-\

That is that the various people working on the project get motivated to work on it, but it always seems to be only a few people at a time, and in order to release an episode, everyone needs to do their part in it since all of the jobs are essential. That being said... the current part it's stuck on (and has been for a few months) is translation. If we do get beyond that finally at some point I'll be happy to make an update post.

Past L-E Projects / Re: Creamy Mami.....

Hello Creamy Mami fans! :D I have recently been recruited to help out with editing for the remaining 7 episodes of this TV series. I haven't really followed the series myself, so it is new to me, but after reading this thread I can see that you dedicated fans have been waiting a very long time to see the rest it. ;) On that note, I pledge to you all that I will work as hard and as quickly as I can to get these episodes edited. ;D Please cheer on me, Tsubasa, and everyone else working on this project as we do our best to finally get it finished for you! :) ;) :D ;D

How nostalgic to think that was almost a year ago now... I have learned a few things since then. 1 being that you should never make a public promise to do anything unless you are really really sure of it. :P ;) But despite all of the trials and tribulations along the way to finishing this, I'm glad I stuck with it and that we finally got it done for all the fans.

You can probably see a good chunk of the history of fansubbing processes between episode 1 (released years ago now) and the final episode (released just last month). And hopefully you can forgive us any inconsistencies you may find due to that. Thanks to everyone who stuck with us all this time. And I hope you enjoy the series in it's entirety.

Ohh, perfect person to hide behind.... now the boys who wanted it initially cannot hide and will have the delightful oppurtunity to claim Veronica for a night.  ;D

-Tsubasa

Yes, their names are already in the drawing. And happily for them the odds are looking good since in an unexpected twist nobody else has asked to be added to it.  ;) So 50% chance to win a date with an LLEer Vash and Gumba! :o

Actually....... no.  :-\

But we thought about it and decided that we COULD hold a lottery to win a date with our little know but very important 4th member: Veronica. (Pictured below.)

So if anyone is interested, please feel free to submit your name and we'll add it to the drawing. ;D

b) As far as Anime goes, that would be anything in the realm of Fantasy, Comedy, and Romance, which is preferred.

:o a person after my own heart!  :D There don't seem to be a lot of similar minded people here that I know of, so I am extremely excited to have you around. Don't be surprised if I "pounce" on you when you are on IRC and start talking about which animes you've watched and liked. I'll be very excited to get to know you. I'm looking forward to it.  :D

Hello everybody. I've recently joined the Live-eviL community in hopes of trying out fansubbing, and I thought that being a Quality Checker was probably the best place to start. I have never done any fansubbing work before, but I am genuinely interested in starting. I am currently a 19 year old college student studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science.

I believe that I was supposed to either make a post here or chat on IRC. I'm not sure when to log on to IRC to talk to people, nor am I sure exactly who I talk to. If
somebody could guide me in what I should do to apply, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.
