I think it is included in the deal, it would be daft if it wasn't.

I really enjoyed this first episode, there are quite a few interesting themes as well.

Just to let people know, the orginal 'Galaxy Express 999' is featured in one of the greatest movies of all time.  It's called 'Sunless' and has a large section about Japan in it.  If you're a bit of a Japanophile and want  to check out some early 1980s styles and things then you have to see this film.

I can't wait for ep2.  One handy hint for trying to make sense of a series from the off is to pay as close attention as you can to the opening minutes as they should tell you everyhing about the series.

Apparently word in the QC room says that a new episode isn't too far away.

I think there was a bit of an information overload in ep1 and lots of the symbols and themes on show may take a while to develop.  I'm busy reading up on my mythology as well.

To QC you need a great eye for detail and be happy to be critical and not be afraid to offend people.  In other words you look at every part of an episode before it's released and look for errors or things that don't work, type it up in good old-fashioned US English and the relevant people get to work on it.  We usually work in dedicated 3 person teams so no serious errors slip through.

I think there might be a test in the near future is tanman, myself and a few others get around to it.

Belleville Rendez-vous is great, it has a different title in French btw.  I love this film though it seems a few people don't seem to get its humour.  The film is Canadian and Belguim made and it seems a lot of critics in the UK are missing how it mocks the French as much as the Americans.

I have a Game Cube right now, as far as PC games go the only things that really get played in my house are Championship Manager, The Sims and Enemey Territory.

I think it's been dropped, I know AnimeCo are still working on it, try www.animeco.org for info, but don't expect speedy releases.

Witch Hunter Robin should be out soon, Noir is already out and that totally rocks.  Oh and for something more light hearted, try Read or Die, a 3ep OVA on one DVD.
