Okay, I know for CERTAIN that the first 5 in the batch torrent have...
 :)FRENCH SUBTITLES :)
Since they use .MKV encoding, Mutilple Sub tracks are in one file, selectable in your player.
We may have the French Subs in 6. I'm 80% sure. Go ahead and fetch it, and tell us about it!

Matsumoto Division.  ;D

Yeah, Well we may be seeing an expansion of this division in short order.  ;D

Something to do with other shows he made, and/or other versions of them ;D

Theres a good chance if it is stalled much longer, and the Matsumoto Division makes a name for itself, that you may see this show done with the vigor and care that was given to Tsubasa Chronicle. Geeze I hate that show, what a waste of manpower... :-[ :P >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

:( As a general rule, sharing raws is a no no, and so is requesting them :'( :-[
However, do check your PM, as the "Matsumoto" division is always looking for recruits!  :o 8) :D

It's Called Oversubbing, and it's Wasteful.

I really hate when this happens. Yes yes, we are awsome, or perhaps awsome-er  ;D, than other groups, but that still doesn't address the inbedded issue of oversubbing.

The overall goal of Fansubbing is to make Anime accessible to people that would normally not have access to it.

When this happens, roughly 2x the staff is working on exactly the same project, not only possibly dammaging quality in both camps, due to rushing it out to beat the other "evil" group, but also squandering time, while not making anime more accessible per say. In other words - Having the exact same show subbed by 2 different groups simultaneously does NOT make the anime any more accessible to people, but it definetly does prohibit the possibilty of 2 different shows being processed at the same time, which would indeed make anime as a whole more accesible. For example, Us and other groups could all throw our efforts at Blood +, and in the end, have made one show more accesible that was not accesible before, wheras, if we all took different projects on, potenially 3x as much anime that would go un-noticed and un-apprecited could, in Theory, be made available. I know preferences and percieved "Quality" have alot to do with the selection of which version you download, and it is definetly a  good thing to have favorties, but just realize that there is an invisible cost to Oversubbing.

Oversubbing is a tragedy.

Honestly, I wouldn't rely too much on us for this one. If the info is at all accurate, in that it will hit air waves the same time as TC S2, I would think most of our clamp-liking staff's time will already be alloted to that, and that  this would more than likey hit that ugly stack known only as "teh queue."

Thanks for the tip JL.  ;D
I have talked with my collegues, and it seems we all agree strongly on the MKV, so it is definetly going to be the format of Harlock until the series concludes, as well as any other series we may be cooking up in the backround. ;D ;)
It is for this reason that I INSIST simply installing the software to support the format directly. If you want to watch it on a big screen, I would reccomend getting cables to hook your computer to your televison, as you may want to try other audio tracks, etc, basically, enjoy what MKV can do for you, even if you do not want to presently. ;D

Sorry for the double post, but....
If you REALLY want to use avi, what has probably happened to produce the echoing effect, is that mayhaps, whatever you are using to convert has integrated both audio tracks to play at the same time. You may want to play with whatever you are using for conversion.
In either case, we would reccomend that you watch it in MKV if at all possible
If you are having issues with MKV, Head to the Leeching & Technical Problems Forum

I would strongly encourage that you install the necessary codecs to support .mkv encoding :)
Each of our releases contains mutiple audio tracks, some of which have undergone extensive remastering, and often mutiple sub tracks - You're really selling yourself short by converting them to .avi. We have no plans to ever change the format of Harlock, mostly because .mkv is great for everthing we look in a format.
By and large, I do not have a specific answer to your question, simply because theres never been a reason not to watch it in .mkv.

Hey all. ;)
As you may have noticed, only episode 12 is up. ???
Worry not, we will get the other ones up as soon as is plausible. 8)
Anyway, If you have any questions to ask that are not answered on the main page, feel free to post them here, and they will be answered as soon as possible.
I repeat, we came to Live-eviL voluntarily, and are very grateful that they accepted us.
Also - This is a page about Harlock. Please do not ask about other/future projects.  ;)
