Is there anyone in particular that I should be speaking to in the IRC channel?  And should I message him/her?  (Just trying to be extra careful, since your rules explicitly state not to message ops without permission.)
Also, just for the record, while I have used IRC before, I'm not too familiar with the various commands and such, so I'm sorry (in advance) if I screw up.

If you're still looking for QC-ers (which it appears you are), I would love to help out.  I have no experience with fansubbing, but I currently have a lot of time on my hands.  I have also played around with programs such as Subtitle Workshop and SubStation Alpha, although I doubt those programs would be needed for QC.  Regardless, if you're interested, I can be reached at barbie21_27 [at] hotmail.com.

So this L-E vs TW is an inside thing and if it were to be a TW and L-E joint forum, this gurls pwn boys would have been interesting but here it's like 'wth?' You also gotta realise that most leechies won't know what we mean by girls pwn boys. They'd think LLE pwns the entire male population cause they don't realise it's a battle between sexes. Someone in the asuki Death Note TV thread was saying 'btw, that girls pwn boys at the beginning always makes me snicker'. Then I realised how they had no idea what's going on inside so I offered some explanation. For most people, it's a 'four groups doing it, so so group is the best.' They won't relate one with the other except compare subs.

Yup, as a leecher who had no knowledge of the L-E/ TW competition, I can verify that this is all true.

Regardless, much thanks to the ladies here at L-E for bringing us this wonderful anime.  You all do an excellent job on it, and in quite a timely manner as well.  Thanks again!
