Release Candidate - ie. if no major errors are found in the file then it's read yfor release.

What are all this technical language?  ??? ??? ??? ???  I feel as if I know nothing about computers now...

In my original discussion on usenet, I referred to nttp servers;
no such thing exists. they are nntp servers = Network News Transfer Protocol, if you don't like meaningless strings of letters.
