The American release was of the actual movies not just 'movies' cut together form the TV series like other classic anime
Toei USA has licensed Galaxy Express 999 and Captain Harlock and is putting subtitled episodes of it up for free at: http://www.crunchyroll.com

Yattaran audition for me.......like plastic i can easily get drunk (since im irish)
PS i sound alot less rigid/stupid when talking live ^_^
Captain Harlock
Galaxy Express 999
Queen Millennia
Captain Harlock + Galaxy Express 999 because i grow up with them, and Queen Millennia because it is a part of "Harlocks-Matsumoto universe"
Could it possibly be Queen Millennia?
Secondly h264 doesnt need a lot of CPU power. One of our QC'ers is running on a p3 800mhz machine and can play h264 encodes just fine. Oh by the way xvid does kinda need a good CPU too. 1ghz+ recommended but I've known people with p3 600's play xvid fine.
I can understand if a group start a series from the beginning using a new codec but it's not a nice to just do it in the middle of a series.
