Current & Future L-E Projects / Re: Tsubasa & Nana = DROPPED
« on: June 29, 2006, 05:19:00 am »
I came back to check to see if there were new episodes  for these and found this. Yes, I'm saddened. Tsubasa was the first anime I downloaded, L-E being one of the first fansub places I downloaded from. Nana, well, to me the music was just amazing. It also showed how there could be a connection between two people who share the same name, age, and house, but seemingly have completely opposite personalities from each other. I'm glad, though, that I at least got to see as much of the anime as I saw, and the Nana live-action was also good. I hope the series is continued, but I don't have much of it when some of the other things I watched on here were also discontinued. I am, however, thankful to L-E for trying hard to get the episodes for this out. Sure, Tofu has let us down, but I'm sure there are reasons behind it. Reasons most of us don't have the right to pry about because, let's face it, most of us (maybe even all of us, I'm not sure) don't know Tofu in person.

And as for the World Cup... what about Wimbledon? :-[

It's been my woeful and direct experience that the very people who ZOMG!INSIST they're such and such, well, they're the ones who turn out to be the exact opposite:

FIRST DATE CONVERSATION:
"I'm such a nice guy, no really, I'm really, really nice"

CUT TO THREE MONTHS LATER:
"I keel you with my boxcutter!!!"

[Sagely headnod].  And now for an oddly fitting quote:

"Never try to tell everything you know. It may take too short a time."
- Norman Ford
I'm not insisting that I'm great, I'm saying don't call me an idiot when you haven't even exchanged words with me.

Anyways... I'll see you guys in another few months, maybe...

Oh, and as for Masakiri who seems to think I'm of the unintelligent nature... I'm in AP classes, getting many college credits out of the way when I'm a Junior in High School. I've read many authors such as Hemingway, Ayn Rand, and Steinbeck. I've had many political discussions about these authors, their books, and what their ideas contribute to society and how eutopias are all based on the person and will always end horrific. I've also had many discussions in my AP French class about such things as new laws, the fixing of oil prices, and the genocides in Rwanda and Cambodia. So, before you go assuming that first of all, I'm a 'dumbass', and second, that all Tsubasa fans are 'dumbasses'... perhaps you should do a bit of research and maybe you'll find your argument to be moot.

Masakari is a hopeless troll who seems to have not only Tsubasa, NANA, Sailor Moon, etc. but the fans as well.  >:( You can go on as much as you like about him, he can be such a pain in the ass.  As the author of this poll, I'll really appreciate any comments like the one TootsiePop has given. ;)
I don't come around here much, anymore, but this thread got me to look into Nana... I actually think it's good, too. It has one of those unique plots and isn't all stupid jokes like some have. There's not much humor in it at all, really, which is a nice change compared to other things I've seen.

You are a total dumbass[/color]
Same goes to you. And thank you for putting it in gigantic red text, since it contributes to your lack of intelligence. I could've seen the point just as clearly if you typed it in a normal, non-adolescent way. Say, for example, "You are a total dumbass." Then again, why even use such common insults? Do you not have anything better in your brain other than a joblot of curse words your friends taught you in fifth grade?

In order of favoritism...

I like Peach Girl Live-Action because it stays really close to the plot line (more than that of the Anime). Plus, I'm a fan of Vaness Wu <3 He's such a heartthrob.

I like the Snow Queen because I think it has a nice unique plot. I don't watch it anymore since I ran out of room on my computer, but while I was watching it I thought it was pretty cool. It did update slow and didn't go very fast at some parts, but never the less it was good.

I like Tsubasa for various reasons. It has a nice interesting plot, but it does move extremely slow. It does leave me wondering at some points what will happen, but most of the time it's just too slow to put up with. I do, however, LOVE the music in it. I haven't seen much from the second season, so I can't really input on the music that much, but I know the music from the first season was amazing.

It keeps telling me number 11 of the live-action isn't a valid torrent file. What do I do?

(Sorry for the late response, I've been having computer troubles as of late)

Thank you for informing me ^.^ I'm fine just knowing that it's being worked on and hasn't just been forgotten.

>.> I would help if I could, but I really don't think I'd be of any real help seeing as I can't speak tiwanese or anything like that... otherwise I'd jump at it.

Hey, I was confused on if someone was still subbing it. I really love the series but havn't really seen any updates in a long time. Is it still being subbed or was it dropped?
