I love you for picking up this show! Honestly, i was very pleasantly surprised by that release since I didn't even know an anime version of that existed.
i adored the manga, but sadly releases got stuck quickly. So it's really nice to see more of this lovely story.
Guess i shall not post spoilers here, but this is getting more and more interesting!
About criticism at KAA: None of that attracted my attention, so I'd say it's nothing serious. Instead i was amazed by the HD release.
Keep it up and thanks so far!

How sad  :'( There is some irony in it, that of all projects the two most popular are being dropped. Fortunately I didn't start NANA so far and fortunately it isn't licensed and forntunately there are other groups subbing it. Much fortune in this, eh?

Oh you are so great *yawn*

Hm, I've got a question about this poll: When will it be closed and what will you do with the results? In short, what's the reason for this poll? Just curiosity or some purpose?
Ops, three questions ;) So far there are a few projects with no votes. Will those be dropped?
Anyway, it's interesting to watch :D

I don't know what BS player is, but at least WMP and Real is rubbish.
Try http://cccp-project.net. Just follow the installation instructions closely and you'll be fine.
Its a codec-pack plus tow good players specially made for watching anime (well, works for all movies of course)

Hm, this is a poll thread, isn't it? Not a "Show-L-E-how-grateful-you-are"-thread. I thought you only wanted a vote plus a short explanation and no hymn.
I personally appreciate your work and dedication for such series, but to me this is not the place to say so.

I voted for Yawara and NANA.
For Yawara, because it's cute and relaxing to watch. I don't really understand why I'm stuck with it, but I am.
For NANA, because it sounds promising. Haven't started watching it, but I definitly will. The story seems quite good from what I've read about it.

afaik there is only this batch torrent. But why don't you skip all the other files? It's easy! Or get it from XDCC Bots.

Man, thats one crappy idea... The live-action movie could have been good, but they totaly failed. What a shame!

I think you can't rely on that comment of Keisuke, because you wouldn't say " I lost to an 11 year and three month old AE86" or something like that, especially when you are angry. So the 10 years are just a rough estimate.

To me, Initial D takes place in present time, more or less. That would make sense, since the S2000 came out in 1999 and God Arm wouldn't race that perfectly in a brand new car.

Same goes for God Foot: he drives an Nissan Skyline Gt-R V-Spec II Nür, which came out 1999 as well.

I'm not sure about this, but the Mazdaspeed bodykit on Keisukes FD is pretty new too. It might be from 2005

I'm somehow relieved that the endless fight about releases being too late or whatever has come to an end.

Hopefully they don't start asking "When will there be a 5th stage? Will L-E be subbing it?" I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do it. Couldn't blame them...

Anyway, big thanks to gumbaloom for keeping his cool and finally releasing ep 24! Applause!!

Quote
"Freaky Planet" is first, then "Disco Time", "Raimei -out of kontrol-", and finally "Angel Eyes".  They released the four singles over the last four months of 2005, then released the album "GRID" in January.  Each had a CD+DVD option that included the music video on the DVD; the album has all four put together as "Crossing Trail ~Road Movie Completed~".
The other videos are not really related to ID, the third is by far the best.

Yep, thats it. Had no opportunity to link it, sorry. But since this is the "third stage" and it says "to be continued" there has to be a first, second and fourth stage.
I believe "Disco time" is the first, but couldn't get a hold of it so far. Maybe somebody has a link for that too?

Has anybody seen the musicvideo from m.o.v.e - out of kontrol? Just discovered this, its freakin funny! The three bandmembers (don't know their names) watch a ID race, Takumi against a red RX-7 and get one by one sucked into the anime. The two males end up driving the RX-7 running in front of the hachiroku while the girl sits on the passenger seat next to Takumi - wearing only a bathrobe  ;)
