1. are you sure it's downloaded completely?
2. do you have the latest xvid codec installed?

if yes, download gspot from here and double check the file.
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

come back for seconds and post more specific details of your computer (OS, media player etc)

yes, I have it completely downloaded, the size is 171mb in the xdcc list and it's 171 mb in my computer, yes I have latest xvid and while playing with videolan, it shouldn't really matter... and what stat gspot gives to the file is: not a valid avi file, I have windows 98 and for example the next episode wich is ep4 works fine on my comp.

ok, now the thing to do is to do a CRC check on the file.
The file size should be 179388416
and the CRC is 7350E1BE
download a CRC32 checker, eg from here: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/vhorch/piccheck.htm
verify the file. It'll probaly be different from the above, then you'll have to redownload the file, sorry :x
