If you still need a translator for the series, please consider a joint with Central Anime. Right here is this forum (check the earlier messages) Heibi (Central Anime head honcho) has offered his scripts for the full KOR TV series.

Don´t know about other people, but what made me really happy is to see the return of Tofusensei.

Maybe there´s even hope that he wil accept to be Persia´s translator and make this project move again.

Welcome back, Tofu  [:burtonsnowboard]

I'd like to see this project happen if it would mean Tofusensei's return to fansubbing.

I'm not really worried about Tsubasa (pretty sure someone will sub it, anyway), but Tofu has done some important fansub work and his return would be a good thing.

For those who don't know, Sindobook is a character in Minky Momo  ;)

Unless it's an amazing coincidence that a Live Evil member who seems to like mahou shoujo has a name from a mahou shoujo anime and don't know the fact, I'd say that would be an indication that a Live Evil member likes Minky Momo and the group shoud sub it.

For those interested, this is a picture of Sindobook:

Maybe Galen Musbach has the DVD ? He seems to collect most (if not all) DVD boxes of mahou shoujo stuff and he has posted here in the forum offering to help L-E with some raws (check the Creamy Mami thread). Maybe he doesn't have them, but I guess asking wouldn't hurt.

Another option would be using the HK DVD for raws. The HK guys have released the entire Ask Dr. Rin series and the DVDs can be bought from ebay for cheap. But they're bootlegs, of course, and maybe you won't want to work with them.

My 4 favorites:

 Magical Angel Creamy Mami
 Magical Fairy Persia
 Yawara (w/Froth-Bite)
 Tonde Buurin

There isn't really an explanation. For me, to like or not to like something isn't a rational thing. Of course, the fact that 3 out of 4 of my choises being mahou shoujo anime shows that I like mahou shoujo shows  ;D.

Get it now!  Tofusensei will have a lot of other things to keep him busy (if he's ever found) based on the status thread  ::)

We'll see, if all goes well you can expect more of this series soon, as well as a few other series including one about a girl who becomes a pig.  Since that is the pigs' favorite series so far.

Unless there's another series about a girl who becomes a big, this should mean that Live-Evil will do Tonde Buurin. Niiice!

Thank you very much for Creamy Mami  :D

Don't forget to download the Persia episodes too. If you like Creamy Mami (as any person with a fine taste would like) you'll probably like Persia too.

I've heard of it and have seen one or two old hentai doujinshi based on it (there's an story in Kenichi Sonoda's doujin anthology Chosen Ame 2, for instance), but never seen the actual anime. Good thing Live Evil decided to do it. I'm a sucker for old and rare anime.

BTW, if Lindberg was a deciding factor, maybe you'd could sub some Heisei Inu Monogatari Bow (平成イヌ物語バウ). Lindbergh has done the opening and the ending for this anime and it seems to be a cute one too.

Current & Future L-E Projects / Re: Gall force "the revolution"? (req)
« on: April 27, 2005, 03:07:45 am »
I would like to formally request a project be opened for subbing Gall force "the revolution".

Gall Force "The Revolution" is far from being a classic.  The fact that a series is a few years old doesn't  make it "a classic". And "The Revolution" isn't even that old... it's from 1996... newer than Evangelion. And the fact is that it's pretty boring.... There isn't absolutely anything special about that OVA.

Additionally, there have been no groups who have ever worked on it.

Wrong, young boy. The 4 OVAs were fansubbed on tape by Odyssey Anime. Odyssey is the same group that subbed the original Glass Mask TV series that is being "digitized" by Oppai.

I'm interested in it and one episode a week is good enough. It will take just 23 weeks anyway. Hope the post of the fansub of the old series will attract attention to the new series that just started in Japan.
