i agree.  Even if i did decide to buy it assuming i actually got a job and money, i dont want to have to wait that long for season 2.  If it airs in japan in april i want to watch it in april not any later.
Wow. I can see what drove Tofu AWOL, subbing for such greedy, demanding, and ungrateful fans, with no self-restaint, discipline, patience, or restraint.

Bootlegging it would be stupid. Can't you read 4 posts up? You realize that the anime industry in Japan isn't doing so hot, and they need continued support to make stuff? A constructive thing to do would be to send the company emails about it, or get a petition/sig list to show them there is a market for SUBS.
Also, do not use these forums for a sig list.

and if the DVDs turn out to be edited then just forget it English companies. I'll get imported ones DIRECTLY from Japan.
Never underestimate the power of the unwashed, faceless legions of pop-culture gluttons.

Agreed. But im poor and get afford "legal" dvds. But I will get Tubasa Chronicles. After watching all the episodes back to back for 12 hours. I fell in love with it
Great. Then if your in love with it, you'll want to do the very best thing you can for it, i.e. NEVER RESORTING TO BOOTLEGS AND BUYING THE DOMESTIC RELEASE. Saying you love the show and then buying bootlegs is like saying you love someone and then slipping [Censored] into their beverage so you can [CENSORED].

Theoretically, Yes. Actually? No.
A)The primary Translator of Tsubasa is AWOL. He probably went insane from the unfathomable evil he losed on the world by subbing Tsubasa.
B)Assuming you got it him back, by the time you did, they would have probably moved on and licensed the rest after the inevitable prolific sales of the first season.
C)Fansubbers like to finish a series before it is licensed, it has to do with that whole sense of closure. Tsubasa 2 has, as of right now, has very grim prospects in this area.
D)Your additude would have me believe that you would want us to sub it becasue...
1)You are of the persuasion that their handling will be less than stellar.
2)You don't actually support Anime, and live by the motto, "To err is to human, To ARR is to pirate (anime)."

Because of this we will be getting an English dub. However Funimation is known for destroying Animes. So as long as they don't change the music or anything else we have a 50/50 chance of this being good. Funimation is second only to Tokyo Pop in bad quality of dubs and stupid decesions reguarding the making of changes to anime and the DVDs.
Whats this? Whining? Acting like your being treated unfairly? If you hate the dubs that much, and you love your precious clamp so much, learn Japanese.

i choose to support clamp through purchacing the tsubasa and xxxholic mangas.
That's abosolutely fantasitc that you support them like that, but one should never settle for second best. Now you can support them even MORE ;D ;D ;D ;D by soon purchasing domestic DVD releases. A FANSUB IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE OR ELIMINATE THE NEED TO PURCHASE THE DOMESTIC RELEASE

Of course, if you want to sign on under the Matsumoto Division, send me an PM.

I can basically promise you that it will not be fansubbed by L-E.
All hail and surrender your funds to the media giant that is FUNimation! For they shalt bringeth thou Clamp.

Well, as of tonight at least, the only "official" news there is to go off on is the announcement over at ANN about the C&D order to S-S from Funi. But there is no announcement from the people at Funi saying what they have licensed. Some one on another forum said they heard that these are titles that Funi is considering but haven't bought the rights to yet.

Personally I think the whole thing bites. I am glad TC will be licensed but they shouldn't have taken action until they Officially make an announcement. This whole thing has spread chaos all over the net tonight.  I do so hope that LE-DB will continue to sub season 2. I know I don't want to wait several yrs for Funi to get around to it.  :-\

Well guess what? I'm glad that the fansub communitity has brought such attention to this series that you can now purchase it. I'm very sure that given the immense amount of fan following various subbing groups generated, that the nascent market for it will not go unnoticed. Furthermore, I do hope that they license season 2 before the subbers get a chance to toutch it, so that there will be more pressure to support the domestic releases so more shows can be made. The very best thing to do at this point is to have NO SUBS so that all due revenue will goto the respective intellectual property owners.
If you like this program, then this should be joyus news! More $ to clamp! Yay!!! :) :) :)
 ;D ;D ;D :D :D ;) :) ;D :D

Z-OMG!!! Is it licensed? Did they snap it all up!?

If you want Live-eviL to sub it then I'd suggest you send emails to tofusensei@live-evil.org / AIM : Tofusensei / IRC Tofusensei or Tofu2 as he's the guy who will be buying the DVD and translating. Currently he's missing in action and we have no clue as to his whereabouts so if you wanna see it subbed you're gonna have to find him for us XD
:D :D :D :D :D :D Yay!  :D :D :D :D :D :D
No Tsubasa for anyone!

Hey Matsumoto fans! Good news! I've just been given word that the newly formed Matsumoto Divison has been given control over the releases of GE999. That means REGULAR releases like our Harlock!  :)
Although, its going to slow down our SPECIAL HIDDEN SUPER SECRET Matsumoto project sleeping in the backround a little. ^_^.  8) 8) 8)

Heh, I may have to personally hijack this project, as well as GE 999.   ;)
What do you, the fans, think of that? You think we should wait for Tofu, or let me handle things in a brisk and proffesional manner? ;D
