The only thing is i hate all the Licensing Issues coz as I may have mentioned before I live in the UK where the Licensed versions dont get released (well we have a few but they tend to stick to the movies over here, we're only just getting Cowboy Bebop the series) This is just annoying for me. but i guess I'll have to wait 5 years for a release of it here.

And before anyone says it I dont buy US DVDs.

well get this, in the UK people are starting to run diesel engines on old Chip Fat (or Fries Fat for you yanks lol)

Gas conversions are kinda taking of here too, Its called LPG (dunno what it stands for) and its half the price of petrol.

what i dont understand is why the UK gets oil out of the north sea platforms then all that oil is shipped to New Zealand!!! all our oil comes from overseas. Is it just me or is the a BIG waste of fuel (the transportation costs!) Oh and count all of yourselves lucky half the price we pay for fuel here is the tax the government puts on it!!!

Same here, be prepared to crap yourself if your in my car and im listenin to eurobeat, i drive like a bat outta hell 
Especially on some of the tracks that remind me of certain parts of ID like Max Power - I always get visions of Takumi doin a Handbrake turn in the snow lol.

What i wrong with people nowadays!!
Racism = Bad!! We should all know that!

Music = Peoples personal taste
personally i hate the american soundtrack to ID and love the japanese one, but no doubt there are people out there who like it, that is their choice!!

As for eurobeat taking on a hiphop style, i would have to agree with dr_ishmael, M.O.V.E has always been like that, can anyone name a song where Motsu sings rather than raps??? And havn't you been listening during the driving scenes!? For example just before Keisuke crashes out on the Oil (sorry if anyone hasnt seen this yet but you should have by now) there is definitly Eurobeat in the background with no Hiphop to be heard!

Oh and as for no decent DVD players being multi region that is total crap!! Unless we get totally different players in the UK. I spent £250 (about $450-500 US) and i have got a VERY high quality MULTIREGIONAL DVD player.

Anyway, this was the reason i didnt join these forums a long time ago, I knew i would rant too much 

So, Roll on 17 + 18 (no this isnt me asking when its out or trying to rush you in any way  )

ok i have a question, it has had references before but i wanna get a straight answer.

TokyoPop has licenced Initial D 1-3 in america but does this licence stand for the UK, as we cant buy any Initial D over here apart from bootleg Ebay and imported stuff.

in which case is it ok to DL 1-3 still, if i live here?

If it is could someone PM me the name of a fansub group who did 1-3 with good subs (as this will only be for my use and isnt promoting it in america)
