Hi, I'm really enjoying the Yawara series, and I'm wondering if the rest of the series will be subbed and released?

Yes we are doing yawara.
We will try to finish the series. As you know yawara is like 124 eps.
Yes we sure do like to pick those long series. I am not sure when ep 20 will be out. As I know few ops are having exams and finishing up this semster before summer.

We should start leaving errors in the eps so they get through about 6 RCs.
Either that or when I get opped I can change the topic to hint that future releases are coming sooner than they are just to annoy people.

I miss watching Yawara, I remember it used to come out every week when I first joined the qc team. Anything we can do to speed it up?

Last time I heard theres a l-e member working on the series is MIA.
So I wonder where that person is???

I love this series. I've downloaded all the episodes and have made my own dvds of the episodes (four eps on each dvd). I even made covers and labels. They might be taken for a good quality bootleg now. :-* Maybe I'll take some pics, it's actually quite cute.
I made an online comic called Judo Man and wondered if there was a judo girl, and surely enough, I found this great anime. So thanks for translating this fantastic series. Hope ep 20 comes out soon, need to make that fifth dvd! :D

I figured it's time again to ask when/if Yawara #20 will be completed. Two months have passed since the last release, so figure it's been long enough where I won't get lynched for asking :P

Yawara! is probably the best anime of the 1980's never to be licensed and released in the United States. Unfortunately, it probably never will be, either. I'm incredibly happy that you live-evil guys decided to fansub it, because I had long thought that I'd never, ever be able to see this wonderful anime for the rest of my life (and I wasn't about to spend $1000 on the Region 2 perfect collection Japanese import set!)
Now only if you'd pre-release the anime series without fansubs, and replace them with the translated ones as you go. ;) I'm fluent in Japanese, so I don't exactly need the subtitles ;) LOL. I'd be happy to look over some translations if you're interested, I cought a few minor mistakes in the earlier releases. Anyways, good work, and I'll be looking forward to the rest of your releases.
Anyways, here's a question: Do you guys plan to release all the Yawara! specials besides just the original series? If I'm not mistaken there are several episodes that involve this anime besides the 124 episode TV series (and maybe I'm wrong on this too.)

Yups, it would be good to see some new yawara episodes... at this rate it takes at least ten years... :-/
Of course, I'm not in position of complaining about this... you sub when you feel like it ;)
