Other major fansubbing groups were looking to pick this up and do a better job with it that L-E ousted in the beginning. Now we have these one or two other fansub groups trying to pick up slack that are comprised of one or two people at the most who do it within two weeks themselves without even having to worry if L-E is going to release their own first. Thats embarrassing.

L-E wasn't just sitting there, oh look, here is this anime (not unpopular in Japan or the US, I mean its pay per view there) that no one seems to want to fansub. Guess I'd better bite the bullet on this one. I would be one to bet they wanted the recognition and thats why they made the series so high quality and quickly in the beginning. Not because they liked it, but mostly to show off. Feel free to show off again guys and finish what you started.

I was waiting too (patiently, because like them, I have a life outside of this), but after hearing you whine about it and continue to try and make them do what you want.  I almost want them to say nope, because of you, we have it subbed, and are not going to release it ever.  Or better yet, just keep quiet about it to piss you off even more.  Out of the thousands of people that wait, you are the only one causing trouble now and complaining.  And your comment about not buying the retail when it comes out because LE is perfect... is the best arguement for not completing their fansub collection, so you do buy it when it is available to give credit to the anime you so love... but apperantly do not want to pay for or endorse.

haha, yeah NFSU2, and GT4 help, but it is so hard to use the 86, either version.. in GT4... however, its a nice challenge in that way.

perhaps it isn't necessary, however maybe in the movie, Bunta was in a wreck, killed her, and then started drinking.

In the series, perhaps some unskilled nobody killed her, and that is why he is so obsessed with making sure Takumi is a skilled driver at first.

Oh well, I guess we may never know.

Ok, so this has been bugging me...  ???  Perhaps it was covered before, but after watching every episode of ID... I cannot figure out what happened to Tak's mother.  Was it ever explained? Did he have a mother? Or was he born from the backfire of the ae86?  Maybe humanoid living tofu? :P

actually, yeah, I was talking about a coating.  a treatment of a sort.  The letters I had in my post below my sentences .. is the correct elemental name for it.   It supposibly insulates heat by a LOT.  So all you would have to worry about in an engine would pretty much be the physical wear and force on the parts.  Instead of having the heat wear on it as well.  In either case, I'm willing to bet is is expensive lol.

This spray might help if you can get it.  Read an article about it not long ago.  I am not sure as to it's actual effectiveness in these circumstances... But it should theoretically help.
