Hi guys,
There is a likelihood that Live Evil will be subbing Idol Densetsu Eriko in the future.  I just wanted to know if any of you knew where I can get the music.  I especially want download links.  I know the CDs came out in 1989...and it's kind of too late to ask for them..If any of you guys have the music, or know someone who has it can u please upload it for me or tell me any other ways to obtain it...that is if u are willing to help me.  Please guys, for the last 5 years my greatest melancholy has been not to be able to hear the audio from from this series. :'( :'( :'(

Thanx, Tsubasa :)

As I posted in the other thread, after checking my normal sources, it seems it is long out of print. And 1989 far pre-dates the digital music,,, hell lets not dance around with the words here,  the digital piracy age a bit so chances of finding MP3s of it are rather small unless you goto Japanese music site like say on usenet and request someone post it, your chances of finding it are small.  :'(

Well yeah sure I would LOVE to!   :DAlthough the episode subtitles are kinda weird....When you get the project going, just knock me!

Also, anyone still has any idea where I can get hold of the music?????

I checked my normal source, CD-Japan (where I got all my LDs and DVDs from over the years) and they dont even list it.

given that it is so old it must be that it is long out of print.  :'(

So it looks like the soundtrack will be hard to find if not at all. :/

That shoud be an intresting trip down memory lane.

Stacks of Laserdiscs, towering SVHS decks, wires EVERYWHERE!

The fate of Fate/stay night is AFAIK is that is WAS licenced by Geneon Entertainment but was dropped and is now being fansubbed by 3-4 groups.

All pure action series just contains fillers and fillers...95% or Naruto are fillers...the very reason I fall asleep watching it!  No wonder DB's website is filled with queries about fillers. ;D ::)

And they call Tsubasa slow-paced...lolz... ::) ::)

Oh be fair now!
 :P :P

Naruto is only 75% fillers. 10% plot and 15% recap !  ;D

Hey Gum, I'm not saying u r wrong and he is right.  I know he leaves off lots of other projects behind, just to get Tsubasa and NANA subbed in preference.  And at other times, he doesn't pay attention to his projects or somthing and u guys have problems with his habits and behaviour.  :( But whatever he does...it keeps at least us Tsubasa and NANA fans happy, so we can't help deifying him, can we?  ;) I mean we are so used to his tight scheduled fast releases of these two series...so if we do have to wait 2 weeks and finally we get it, that would definitely be like heaven to us, wouldn't it?  :) But I do sympathise with u guys for ur current situation with the other projects he is working on...which are not progressing at the rate they should be.
Well, my download speed is only like 3kb/s...so it takes me forever to download stuff.  If I had the bandwidth to get the raws downloaded fast, I'd definitely translate for u.  If I do manage to get back my previous net speed...ever...I'll definitely translate for u if u need it, thats a promise.  But if I try this with my current speed, it'd take me 4 days to complete the whole translation process (3 days of downloading, lolzzz ::))...and that'd be too slow for u, wouldn't it? I wish there was someone who could just watch the raws, jot the dialogues down and send me that 'script' so that I can translate it....but since it doesn't work this way...(sigh...) :(

Sigh..
I too wish I knew how to help you guys at L-E but I cant think of any off the top of my head.
I'm an "Old School" Fansubber Who got her start with Amigas and Jaco-sub and genlocks and video taped and then morphed over to PC-Windows with passthrough/overlay video cards when Sub-station Alpha came out.
and had just started to do full digital subbing via virtualdub and ssa scripts when we went under.
but that way a few years ago.
The fancy typesetting you guys do now I have now Idea how you do it or what you use these days. it seems quite beyond the tools that I used to use.

But sadly what you need most is what I dont do, and that is translations. I did everything else but, the editing, the timing, proofing, processing, general audo/video digital jiggery pokery.

As for Tsubasa's bandwith problem,  ;D I have the oppisite, I have a cable hookup all to my self and even systems dedicated for video work just sitting around  :'(
As I said I wish I could be of some help to you guys but I am not sure how.

thats life for ya. you fansubbers have a life too it just seems that some people don't understand that. the mere fact that Tofu left an explaination of whats happening with the release is more than enough. as far as i know thats something no one is required to do.

Darn right. everyone has their own tastes with what they like in anime it would unfair to inorge the others.
and yes i do like tsubasa alot but i have NO PROBLEM with sitting back and waiting for a bit. i can just watch something else in the mean time.

After all we HAVE been waiting 1/2 year for tsubasa 2nd season

It is not the ONLY thing I watch but it is VERY VERY high on my list.

other things on my list are,,

Fate/stay night.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Saiunkoku_Monogatari
Ouran High School Host Club
Strawberry Panic
Nana
Dai_Mahou_Touge
XXXHolic
Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge.
to name a few :P
