yes...I hate to demux it but I love watching on the big screen and my pc can only hold so much.  If anyone has an idea please let me know.  If not...have a nice day and thanks for the fansubs!

Hi,

I used WINAVI 8.0 to convert my mkv files to avi and it works but in "output format" I selected "user defined".

after that I converted avi to dvd and burned.

The result was that everything was great except it visually just makes the TV screen when I play on a dvd player.

you can watch it but it's like pressing half the zoom button. the subs can be seen but the top left and right of the screen barely makes it.  I need to shrink it down just a bit.

instead of selecting "user defined" IN THE MKV TO AVI CONVERSION in the output format selection should I select one of the following to make it fit the screen?? any help would be appreciated!

Xvid[640*320:2m]+MP3[44100:128k]
or
Xvid[512*384:2m]+MP3[44100:128k]
or
DIVX HD[720*480:4m]+MP3[44100:192k]
or
DIVX HD[1280*720:4m]+MP3[44100:192k]

I know eps. 1 & 2 were licensed by ADV years ago but are eps 3 & 4 a possiblity?

Ok.  I had to download K-codec to make them playable.  sorry to bug u!

Now I have a new issue. Is there better software out there to convert eps of space symphony maetel 7 thru 13 which are mp4 files to avi or dvd...or am I going about this all wrong to begin with?

 I cannot convert using winavi the mp4 files to avi files.  it states there is a codec error,  Thanks for all your help!

Hi Guys.  I just downloaded ep 3 and when I try to play on media player classic or any other player the file runs but the video is scrambled.  Unviewable.

no errors pop up.  Please advise.

Hello,

Space Symphony Maetel error

I receive this error when trying to open episodes 6 thru 13.  which are mpeg 4 movie files

ERROR -37:  A bad filename or volume name was encountered

Please advise.

eps 1 thru 5 are avi and open fine.

Or if anyone can burn me a copy of all 13  of these episodes to dvd I will gladly send the blank dvd's and money for shipping.  Just email me at mgthunderus@yahoo.com

Hi,

I just need to know this because I cannot keep thses files on my pc. 19 eps of Harlock and going strong will kill my memory.  I need to convert to avi so I can then convert to dvd and burn to disk

Do you have a step by step for me to follow with the aPplication u suggested?  I am going nuts trying to do this with Supe c and river past video cleaner. 

Will future harlock eps be in AVI like the 1st ssx ep was?

HI,

I am getting this error when I try to open eps 1 thru 5 mkv files in my player.

The eps play but they skip, pause and crash.

Invalid first byte of EBML ID 00.

Episode 6 states CANNOT RENDER FILE. 

EPS 7 thru 14 Run Fine.

Please advise.
