There will be NO GE 999 until someone makes us a wordpress skin. Its been months since this was on the main page
Ever since our website got hacked we’ve lost our Wordpress skin because it was incompatible with the up to date version of WordPress. If you’re a WordPress expert and wouldnt mind spending a bit of time hacking us out a new skin send it in an email to mikala@live-evil.org and greenkabbage@live-evil.org.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help us out.
We encourage that you fortify the skin with every screencap and other pic of Harlock/Maetel/Matsumoto people etc. you can muster, and that it looks AWSOME. Make sure to put some Yawara etc. in there as well, otherwise, they will get PISSED. Anyway, its pretty sad that no one volunteered, so this is what it comes to; Live-eviL should have an awsome looking site, not B.S. kkplzthnx.

I tried. I really did. Wordpress just hates my computer.
Anyways, why don't you try the carrot instead of the stick. Do you have a positive incentive for anyone who get it done rather than a negative incentive for everyone who doesn't?
Positive reinforcement works wonders.

Never worked with word press before but I am a webdesigner by day. I'll take a crack at it. May take a bit as I'm gonna go through a learning curve. But I'll start on it tonight.

also if anyone has any pictures they would like to contribute can email them to gary@computerhelpmi.com.
took about 15min to install no to start tearing it apart.

I personally do not, but BE AS CREATIVE AS POSSIBLE. ^^!
Also, Images may be ripped from our shows and used liberally; I would suggest that everyone take some pics and email this man for the chance for one of your very favorite images to be PART OF THIS NEW AND EXCITING PROJECT!!!

I'm working on it. This is a new program for me but I am working on it. The more information I have though the better I can make the new theme.
Besides after looking at the old skin, I can firmly say I don't like it and wouldn't make one like that.

Something very clean and professional looking. Panels, and perhaps an image that is random each time the page loads.

Thats my plan. Gonna work on ripping images the next couple days (still downloading some of your fine subs to use), working on the coding as well over the next few days, then hopefully putting it all together and testing. Hopefully it won't take too long.

LOL well 10 hours of over time in the last two weeks has killed me however..... It is coming along pretty good plan on putting alot of time in on it this weekend. One thing I am missing is the live evil logo as I have seen many versions mind sending me the official version you want on the site?

hi im new here but couldnt help stumbleing upon this thread. I as much as the next person appreciate your guys work on these fansubs, although i stick strickly to initial d from you guys, cause well i havent had time to dip into any other animes aside from bleach and naruto.....but i couldnt help noticeing this ransom and if my photoshop skill could be used at any way by dragon if you need custon graphics or what not just hit me up somehow. Im in no way a web designer or have ever worked with the program mentioned before, but i do dabble with photoshop since im a graphic designer. Not the best but i thought id throw this out if i could help. LOL anything to get the ball rolling on releases. Considering im awaiting the release of ep 23-24 of initial d, i know how it is waiting. LOL. Well I am working on it was we speak was just stopping in to see what was being said. Also keep in mind I have no intention of this being a final release. Websites change all the time and a skin that never changes is boring so I will do this one quickly so there is something better looking up then I will start working on a more permanent one which will prolly take a month or two, then most likely will update it every six months. Unfortunatley spare time has been non-existant for me lately but I won't pull a tofu and just take off for months at a time.

Well almost done with the my first version. Everything is testing good just have a couple finishing touches but I will be able to send it tonight. Who does this need to get emailed too?

If you want to earn extra bonus points and a cookie pick a wiki which you can implement your skin on with like a Staff / Projects page and what not and create a wiki template too which has links from the front page eg a staff link on the front page jumps to the staff page on the wiki. Then send mikala the wiki template and a link to the chosen wiki and he can install it :D
Pre-requisites - The wiki must run on a Debian Linux system and it must have user access control

Something like tha but integrated to the front page would be nice eh?

i sent dragon some banners he wanted done, dont know if they are of quality for this, but we will see.....just dont know if hes got them yet. But ill be lookin at my messages on here and reply's here and also my email. peace. -jon

It was up for a couple hours the other day then it dissappeared again :(. I have already seen some thing's other than the tracker that I want to change soooo.. Skin will be updated this weekend and should have a new version emailed to mikala no later than monday night. (Shooting for sunday night but it's gonna be a long working weekend (I really need to make my boss hire me an assistant, maybe a young blonde female :o)).

I'm trying to convince them to make me the wp admin so I can take care of it and make sure it doesn't keep doing this. I spend 10+ hours a day online anyways so it's not like I'm not around to monitor it.

Sad thing is most girls who look similar to maetel (thin, long blonde hair, etc) turn out to be nutty. Given up blondes was harder than waiting for the next season of initial d to start :(.

The links, and additional pages that are listed their are all controlled through the WP admin area, and possibly can also be controlled by users. I would love to be able to make those updates for you and add other updates to those area's, etc. But at this point the most I can really do is adding graphics and what not without access to the admin area. IE I can only change the skin but can't do anything with the content of it.
PS you guys wouldn't be in need of an encoder would you?
