naa, I can't imagine Takumi losing now. One Ep is too little time for that  ;) And there is still the battle with his father waiting. I don't think he will lose till then.
But he might be pressured to develope a new trick since he already used his whole repertoire and his opponent wasn't too impressed. Or maybe it'll end in a draw? That would be a good way to keep the fans excited

It's a bit late, but... Thank you or the new release.
ID fans are sure used to get cliffhangers, but this time its slightly different. Takumi is in advantage. I can't remember something like that. Usually when he passed his opponent the race was over and all the tension gone, but this time it seems there is  something different coming up. I'm eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the stage

Hm, he isn't that good... The really cool guys drift at D1GP! But you hardly see an inertia drift there, they use the parking brake. Seems to be easier that way

Yo.  I just finished watching eps 1-49 in two days, and well, I guess that shows my opinion on the series.  ;D
"The earlier I'm through the better"?

Great work, L-E, I really enjoy watching it! I'm slowly catching up with the releases, just watched ep 40. And there is one thing really wrong in the subs: Fujiko say she learned to dance at the "Bolle Chez" troupe.
In fact it's a very famous russian school (even I know it ;)) and its called Bolshoi, named after the theatre in Moscow.

Finally I managed to get the new eps and watch at least the first battle, so no cliffhanger for me so far ;D
It was just great to see the GT-R vs. RX-7 in action, both cars were absolutly beautiful!!! It was a bit annoying to see the Skyline with wrong backlights in ep 19 and 20, but fortunately they fixed it in ep 21, this was the only thing that really bothered me.
And is it just me or have they returned to really extreme drift angles like in stage 1?
Anyway, great work L-E, but wasn't expecting less from you ;)
Thx a lot!

It's cold on the north pole right now, isn't it? So Santa wouldn't have thermal problems with his cpu. Besides he has many elves to fan it... :P

That would be so great! The perfect combination, lots of ID and lots time to watch it  :D
Come to think of it, I haven't seen the usual anime christmas specials so far...

Well I don't think it would be against the rules since they don't translate licensed manga. There you go: http://inanemanga.com
I can really recommend these, it's like L-E of manga  ;D

Forgot to mention: DL only via IRC afaik

A few month ago? Inane Scanlations released ch 364-366 on november 13th... They just introduced god arm and god foot so they are in fact on chapter ahead of L-Es translation.

If I had a PS, i would also prefer to run the Evo IX on Tsukuba or so... :'(

Btw: Since this is a ID topic I want to ask something about the series: In the uphill race, Keisuke vs. the supercharged AE86 , there is something like "Approved vehicles only" written on the road. What does that mean? Is there some test the japanese cars have to pass? And are there roads for unapproved cars too?

I went and dug out my copy of NFSU2 purely to build up about 10 different variations of the ae86 and tinker with them... The only cars I can beat my track records set in the ae86 with is a highly tuned Celica or RX-7... Ironic

Then again, considering I can run an almost flat 51 on the second longest U.R.L track (Not the airport ones) with the ae86... Gives you some idea :P
In fact all the NFS U2 world records are made with AE86. Except the drift challenges, their records are made using the Golf GTI.
A little bit unrealistic but still great fun! I prefer a plain black GT-R with xenon lights. Looks menacing in the night :)
