1) DONT ASK WHEN THE NEXT EPISODE IS OUT - IT'S OUT WHEN IT'S OUT

So put the remaining ID eps on your wishlist and maybe Santa will read it and maybe, just maybe, grant your wish!  ;D

Btw: Can somebody sum this up for me: How many eps have been aired, announced...?

@azndvl: Now I known why you asked... The new website is horrible (sorry guys!), there is no information about projects, their status, no link for bt or irc, just news. And the design is hideous.
That's no offense, just my point of view...
There is even the usual project-status in the channel-topic missing.

well i jsut got my power back from hurricane wilma...dreaded storms i hate them... i was fortunate considering i live on the beach that nothing happened to my car aside from some scratches...though my condo's front door, sliding glass door, and the shutters on the porch all got blown in lol...and didnt tsuchiya make a cameo in 1st stage? maybe he keeps hearing about takumi and wants to see it for himself =P well one must wait to find out.

Dori-dori was consultant in terms of driving and drifting for at least the 4th stage. He also helped recording the engine sounds.

Well, the facts that cars are getting heavier is rather a common trend that happens everywhere. I mean, even modern porsches weight a lot these days...

Sadly enough, but I guess that's one more incentive to remove the backseat etc... ;)
Well, add A/C, airbags, power-steering, lots of computers and so on to an old porsche and see what happens... It's all that comfort/safety stuff that makes a car fat!
But fortunatly because of better tires, suspensions, engines modern cars are usually as fast as old ones.
On the other hand... I saw a comparison of old and new hot-hatches on tv, cornering ability, acceleration and stuff. The old ones won clearly!

Actually its remixed at the start with the cool phantom of the opera music done on heavy guitar *i think* but yeh when gets into main bit of the song, pure 1st stage bliss
There was phantom of the opera music in 1st stage as well. Guess it should symbolize the menacing character of the black GT-R 32...

Some american tuners (don't remember the name) replaced the whole engine with a Honda VTEC from the S2000.
I think this is a better choice if you really want to stick with the AE86 chassis because the 4AG engines are old and even if their engineers were genius modern engines ARE better. spare parts for the AE86 should be expensive and finite as well.

No One Sleeps in Tokyo!!??  :o
Speedy Boy?   :o
Night Of Fire!!???  :P

These are my favorite! Bring it on!
The soundtrack was best in 1st stage.

Takumis car for sale: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/car/105045623.html
Seems some guy from Bandai sells his ID AE86 replica. It's said to be exhibited by Tokyopop at the Anime Expo 2002.

Thats kinda lazy, but on the other hand it's a great song and since this is another battle with a GT-R it fits somehow.
Are you sure this isn't a remix or something like that?

In Germany run already more cars on diesel than on petrol. They are really popular because they have lots of torque, are fuel-efficient and diesel is 30% cheaper than regular.
But this creates a new problem: diesel engines produce much soot, which causes cancer. So new cars have to use filters or they pay really high taxes.
These filters reduce some of the advantages like power and economy.

I don't like diesel, they sound somewhat agricultural and their power comes all in a big lump (quoting Jeremy Clarkson here, but he's right ;D ) And I like high revving engines, which diesel are not.

you mean like this one?

Now I wonder: Was the car made after the anime or the anime after the car? Looks absolutly great!!

Oh, and there is a really easy way to make diesel from wood. Shell is going to use this, I think. I think this will be a really good alternative.
It's true that all these alternatives are hard to get for a normal person, but that is what I blame the governments and concerns for. They should have known!

nothing wrong with complaining about the cost...   There is no reason for it to triple in price in 3 years, and double in price within 2 weeks...  Different places have their prices, we had ours.. but the US is dependent on OIL for transportation... so until there is an alternative, keeping those costs down is for the greater good.  Of course we know the people who already have alternatives have been bought off by the oil companies....
There is a reason! Since China started to consume more and more oil we run kinda short on oil.
And I say the US wastes a lot of fuel! Stop driving bigblock V8's! There is no need for that. Where I live an average car uses roughly between 60 and 40 MPG. And not 20 or even 10. If you'd drive more economical cars it wouldn't hurt you so much.
And there is no reason to depend on oil for transportation. There are a lot of alternatives! It's a known fact since years that oil reserves are finite!

Sorry about this, don't want to flame, but it makes me upset.

Back to topic: I really love the new looks of the RX-7. Wish I had a decent picture of that :)

I guess he is right. Just after Rita you had to pay in Norway $1,96 per liter fuel (95ROZ). Thats about $7,40 per gallon.  :o
In Germany it was about 1,70 per liter or 6,40 per gallon.
So, what did it cost in the US then? ;D
