Current & Future L-E Projects / The future of L-E's project Yawara

How far does L-E plan to go with Yawara?  I'm surprised this show never made it to the US through "offical" means, and I'm doubting it ever will.

I'm asking because I just found out that there's a Yawara movie and TV special.  I'm not sure where in the story the Movie occurs, but the TV special is apparently the end of the show (after 124 episodes!  wow!).

Also, is there anything that I (someone that doesn't know Japanese,  doesn't know how to typeset, or have the bandwidth to do anything useful) can do to help with the translation of this show?  Is there are way to donate?  Does the L-E team already have the DVD box set for Yawara? (not that I can afford it, but I can chip in)

Does anyone know if a manga translation project exists for Yawara?

Yawara is a great anime, which means the manga for it must be equally awesome or better!

Props to the L-E subbing team!  You rule for making Yawara and Condor available for my viewing.


(I did not post this in the "Current & Future L-E Projects" section cause the manga doesn't fall under L-E's projects.)
edit: (also, I know condor is licensed.  I mean back in the day, when L-E was subbing it)

Can someone who has the [L-E]Yawara_09-12_pack and a good connection start seeding it?  I'm anxious to continue watching this awesome show!  I have 53% of the pack already.

If not, that's cool.  But, I thought I'd try asking!


Thanks L-E!  Thank you for bringing Condor Heros and Yawara into my life!  Never have I enjoyed anime so much!

(I know Condor was licensed, and I'm still anxious to finish the series when I purchase the last DVD release for season one  )
