Congratulations and thank you for finishing this wonderful series!  It has been a delight to watch, and easily one of my favourite mahou shoujo serials.

As far as other Creamy Mami works, there is a manga, two feature-length OVAs and five OVA music video thingies (I cannot think of a good name for them), not to mention the I-don't-know-how-many albums released ;)  I have raws for the Lovely Serenade and Curtain Call music OVAs, but they are below Live-eviL quality I am afraid.

EDIT: I almost forgot, Creamy Mami also appeared in a couple of other pieces.   The Adesugata Mahou no Sannin Musume OVA, with Persia and Magical Emi, which was only so-so, but the Majokko Club Yoningumi A Kuukan Kara no Alien X OVA, with Persia, Magical Emi and Pastel Yumi, was good for a laugh.  The Minky Momo vs Creamy Mami special, which came with Creami Mami's Long Goodbye OVA (and Minky Momo's Yume no Naka no Rondo) was hillarious, but needs no subbing ;)

You hardly need a translator; there was a perfectly functional English script made in the 80s ;)  Besides, it could be a French or Japanese translator, as it was a Franco-Japanese production.  I cannot believe there is no English DVD release of this for, as mentioned, there are so many of us out there who would love to see it!

Nah, season two was tripe; I doubt I will even bother watching season three.  Live-eviL staff can either put their resources into the quality projects they are already working on, or (very easily) find something better to sub if they want something new.

Matsumoto Leiji is too good to use your real-world physics and facts: he just does what suits him.  Besides, do not forget it is set in the distant future, so some `facts' would have changed *cough* ;)

Raahh, so close now!  There needs to be some sort of a celebration involving alcohol and catgirl-maids when this project is finished.

Demo... boku wa... Tochiro-sama ga... daisuki desu! ... orz

I'm short and wear glasses: under that hat and cloak you cannot see anything else :p

Anyways, putting that aside, do any of the mature members of the forum know anything on this movie? The vast majority of anime to live action adaptions are dreadful, and this one would be more difficult than most, but you know you want to see it ;)

I was just skimming over the front page of http://www.leijiverse.com/, and saw this:

Quote
Captain Harlock (the forecoming live movie)

Ehh??? Has anyone heard anything about this?  It is still `forecoming', or has it since come? Can I play Tochiro?

That sounds so darn cool, though I am sure it will be corny as all hell (Harlock must me animated!).

Mahou no Pirate Emeraldas

Synopsis:
Emeraldas is granted a magical stick by Wotan which she must use to aid Harlock in his battle against the ghosts of the Mazone.  Meanwhile, Maetel travels on the 999 to visit various psychics, hoping to figure out a continuity between all the stories.  An epic tale of love, disappointment and ecchi henshin sequences!

* bobby6 loves your avater Elric :D

Mahou shoujo + Matsumoto Leiji.  The two things Live-eviL does so much of that I enjoy watching.  I could not think of anything more appropriate for this forum ;)

I did not know that Waga Seishun no Arcadia was licensed until it was mentioned here (at Live-eviL) --- in fact, I had been waiting for you guys to announce you would sub it!  Well, once it was mentioned, I ordered it, and the shipment from the US finally arrived yesterday afternoon.  I watched the movie last night, and loved it!  I shall have to check out this episode tonight, though it said on the DVD that the series was axed before it finished.  A shame really, but does anyone know how it ended up?  Was it a jarring cut, or did they give us a rushed conclusion?

GE12 would be the `999' reference in the list; I do not watch DAQ, on the other hand, so that was neither here nor there for me.

Can someone please sub Masakari? Raws are already available here, and I will QC, but I cannot translate them.

I want to know what it wrong with Live-eviL.  Releasing a bunch of awesome titles so close to each other... what were you thinking? You should release crap like Tsubasa Chronicle, and take a long time between releases of anything, not release Harlock, 999, Dr. Rin and Creamy Mami, all within a few days!

Seriously, this has been the best week of anime I have had in years. You guys are great!

The movies are a re-telling of the story, but they are ALL BRAND NEW ANIMATION, SOUND, and...No not characters...the Idea of Matsumoto and new characters in one sentence is....mystifying.

Ginga Tetsudou Monogatari.  Very clearly Matsumoto, but no sign of the characters we all know and love.  I could also cite The Cockpit, but since that is set in WWII I would not expect to see Harlock or Maetel or whoever.

I voted for:
Mahou no Tenshi Creamy Mami --- because it is almost finished; when it is done, I would change my vote to Mahou no Yousei Persia
Ai to Yuuki no Pig Girl Tonde Buurin --- the little I have seen of this was awesome: we need more pig-girl!
I then voted for Matsumoto Leiji, because Lejiverse titles rock.  I went with Ginga Tetsudou 999 and Uchuu Kaizoku Captain Harlock; I have only seen the one episode of Shin Taketori Monogataro 1000-nen Joou, so I do not yet know if it is any good or not.

I also watch NANA and Tsubasa Chronicle, but I would rather see more episodes of the above titles.
