The ones that thewird releases *shudders*... Are even more "gimmicky" than the L-E ones... If that's possible?

No offence to you guys, love the karaoke stuff and so on... But those guys go over the fucking top with it all *shudders more*

Nah... Was rules for the comp I was going to participate in... They said I could put stockies on, but they're only 6" wide, so it put me out either way...

I started on S1E1... And gone from there... I've been called cruel and heartless many times now because I always send them across with the attached note "And that's all for this week folks" and it always leaves them on an edge of a race or something :D

I just got my radiator welded up to fix a leak in one of the side tanks... Buying a new clutch next week to replace the whole lot, bearings and all...

Participated in a "friendly" race at the tracks on the weekend, got disqualified from the second race due to my "tyres being too wide"... I've got 8" ones instead of the 7.5" *shrugs*

And I got a few people addicted to Initial D, but I'm cruel... Giving them one episode a week :D

Ceramic coating works brilliantly... Want to test it (and stuff your engine in the process), get a spark plug, crack the ceramic around it and drop some in one of the chambers, it'll just rattle around and gouge a groove into your block... I've seen it happen :(

If you do go with ceramic or TBC spray stuff, make sure you coat the chamber and the piston, pretty much everything that's going to come into contact with the head of combustion (Event the head/valves if you really really want to) to prevent hot spots forming around the chamber where it doesn't have the coating. The 4AGZE pistons are ceramic coated, and work brilliantly at head dissipation, but it means the block itself heats up more.

Personally I've only ever seen the cylinder bore and piston/con-rod coated, and it works brilliantly, just the head/rocker cover gets very hot in time... If you do go down that way, let me know how much it costs you and how well it works, as I'll be exploring this for my car in the near future :)

Hehe... Got to drive a very sick S13 Silvia last night. About a week ago it swallowed it's air filter *haha*, so now it's pretty much stuffed. Backfires at random, doesn't spool properly, lacks power, yada yada yada...

My car on the other hand, makes about 5 mins driving before it overheats :(

Time to plumb back the heater hoses today, hopefully patch the problem, just no heater/aircon... Small sacrifice

But of course, that's half the fun...

Hooray for me, I think I blew a head gaskett on the tracks last night... I just fixed the damn thing :(

So now I shall get drunk, as it is the weekend, and spend the weekend fixing whatever I broke

Billthe3... It's quite driveable... Apparently, but that's due to the extremely large tyres on the rear end :P

yeah i just wish i could get my hands on a front clip black top 3sge out of an altezza...its difficult since its not a common mr2 swap, the mounts are different but if you use a previous model 3sge set of mounts it lines right up...none of the places near me seem to be able to find one.

Shame you're not in Australia (I don't think?), I'd be able to hunt one up for you, at a decentish price too... And if I couldn't, probably know one or two people that could

You know it's possible to make the engine that Takumi is running, simply by removing the VVT from the 4AGE 20V head... It requires a few valley welds here and there, but it's ENTIRELY possible... Not sure on the cost though, but I can probably find out...

That being said, I don't see any AE86 owners here rushing out to buy 20V engines to do the modification, as the rest of the engine needs some serious work to match
