Well if any of you are planning to buy the DVDs when it comes out. For those who live in the US, here's a good site....

www.dvdplanet.com

gives you like 30-45% off of ALL DVDs. So unless you know of a better place that's a good place to get DVDs if you wanna save money ^^.

And that's the REAL DVDS not the Hong Kong copies.

You know I don't know why most of my friends don't like the second season's opening theme. Sure it could've been better but I find it to be decent dunno why they say it's completely aweful.

Hmmm I just remembered, has anyone heard the fan made parody opening song of CCS to make fun of the horrible Cardcaptors? I was laughing SOOOO hard when I first heard it. Anyone else heard that song?

Whether they were or weren't that much special special I want to see them because they're part of CCS lol.

Your going on the basis that Guyver is a Machine. Guyver is a Bio-Booster Armor. No Operation System no nothing, it works completely on instinct. Something attacks it, it will fight back. The show DOES show us that it will protect it's friendlies as long as the user is conscious, it's linked with the User's brain so when the user thinks he needs to protect a certain person and danger comes near them like someone shoots a bullet at his friend Guyver instinctively reacts to the user's thought to wanting to protect his friend and blast the bullet as a reflect.(Kind of like how a mother would instinctively shield their child from harm without having to think) But if the user is unconsious or dead Guyver will fight on instinct and will attack anything that it perceives as a threat, it will then only look out for itself to ensure survival while it restore the user.

Also Guyver is an alien armor not human made it's Alien who specializes in genetic manipulation.

I wonder if they're going to make a Tsubasa Chronicles Special like they did for CCS. The CardCaptor Sakura Tomoyo Video Special, it was a present and only distributed in Japan so not many people know about it and most likely will never see it because there's barely any trace of it left. -.- I was hoping that Geneon would release it in their box set as an extra but I haven't gotten all of it yet to find out.

It's called

Tomoyo no Card Captor Sakura Katuyaku Video Nikki!

Hey Tsubasa didn't you mention that you were fluent in Japanese in an earlier post? What's the difference of watching it Subbed and watching the raw? Basically same thing if you can understand it either way just no Karaoke is all.

Hyper Defensive Mode only happens when the user is unconsious to ensure the survival of the user and suit. In Hyper Defensive Mode it is strong and does everything possible but has no humanity nor intelligence so it cannot distinguish between friend and foe. So it will simply crush anything that moves, it's not like you can switch to it at will. But it will only switch to this mode if the user can no longer defend him/herself while the threat is still there.

For example in one of the episodes the enemy uses mind-control to turn the guy's father against him. He wouldn't use any weapons to fight back because that's his father, ultimately that got him killed and his father crushed his brain completely. At that point Guyver entered Hyper Defensive mode and fought back with everything it's got while it makes repairs to the user.

We need to have Chuck Norris go and pay a visit to Tofusensei to nudge him into action.

I stumbled on something funny while surfing the web. I was visiting some random forums and I bumped into one where they had a topic of "Which female anime character is the most popular." It was interesting to find out that Rei Ayaname from Neon Genesis Evangelion was most popular and second was Sakura Kinomoto from CCS.

Sakura I can understand because she was soooo darn cute in the CCS series especially when she's completely clueless ^^.

But Rei is weird because she has absolutely no emotion but there's something about her that draws people to her lol.

But Sakura FTW ^^.

Heh I should aslo elaborate on why I think it's the best armor.

Guyver is a Bio-Booster armor. It merges with the host and memorize the hosts DNA signature. So if it gets it's head cut off it can regrow the entire body. It has a head lazer equiped, Motion Censor that detects enemy movement all around the user even through solid concrete so a sneak attack is impossible, two sonic blades that cuts through anything it touches, a Pressure Cannon, a Gravity orb to increase or decrease Gravity so it can fly, Super strength and Jumping abilities, bullet proof, Sonic waves for sound attacks, and two Mega Smasher that basically shoots off strong energy blast but requires charging time. If the user becomes unconsious it will enter hyper defensive mode and take over control and do everything possible to defeat it's enemies.

Orbital Frames are made of Metatron and they can float without having to use much energy they can absorb weapons from their opponent if compatible. They aren't hindered by weather or gravity. and can repair themselves simply by absorbing Metatron Energy or Electricity made by Metatron that's around them and do a complete repair. Not to Mention the onboard AI that analyzes the battle situation and helps the pilot control it.

at this point I wouldn't mind watching a standard sub lol. Subbing using SSA isn't that hard and don't take that long. It's actually the translation encoding and text effects that takes up the bulk of the time making it. But if you get rid of text effects and Karaoke you'd be able to crank out episodes in no time lol. Then again why would you watch that it looks too much like a DVD sub version and that's kinda dull. But I wouldn't mind it now. XD

Hmmm maybe Tofu is purposely holding back episode 32 to teach all the impatient people who keeps asking for it every 4 hours that patience is a virtue lol.

Ok people enough whining lol. Whining and begging isn't going to get anything done, except annoy people. It's starting to sound like Parents yelling at their children to do the dishes or clean their room. Doesn't get it done any faster and just gives people headaches lol. So tone it down a bit please.

Well with about 46 episodes to go it's going to be interesting to see how Clamp resolve the plot ^^.
