The encode was done from the 2007 remastered DVD. As I understand it, that DVD release was referred to as the HD Remastered Edition to indicate that it was remastered from the original high-definition film. Unless it gets released on Blu-Ray or something, I doubt there's gonna be a DYRL in a high-definition resolution.

Leeching & Technical Problems / Re: Site address or web browser problems?
« on: October 09, 2008, 01:36:28 am »
I just tried loading the front page in IE7, and all I get is the banner and then "Out:Galaxy Express 999 #32!" followed by "September 25th, 2008", and nothing else below it.  Strange, right?  But then I noticed the following:

http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/releases/ - does not work in IE7 (same result as previously described)
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/recruitement/ - displays correctly in IE7
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/general/ - displays correctly in IE7
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/releases/page/2/ - IE7 displays all of the "OUT: The Daughter of Twenty Faces 17+18" post, but then only displays the headline for "Out:Snow Queen #17!", the date, and the two images before truncating
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/releases/page/3/ - displays correctly in IE7
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/releases/page/4/ - IE7 displays headline and date of first post only
http://www.live-evil.org/archives/category/releases/page/5/ - IE7 displays headline and date of first post only

All pages appear to render correctly in Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari.

So:
1. If you can use a different browser besides IE7, please use that instead.
2. Blame Suzaku's posts for breaking IE7. :D  (probably not a bad thing, but still)

The last line reads "Ayumi-chan's just too cute!"  I had to turn off subs in the HD release to read it.

Yes it is... http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=VPBY-15303 for volume 1.  Replace 15303 with 15304 for volume 2, 15305 for volume 3, all the way to 15309 for volume 7.

General Forum / Your favorite pen/pencil/writing utensil
« on: September 19, 2007, 03:56:41 am »
We could talk about keyboards instead, but... I dunno.  They're overrated. :p  Let's talk about pens and pencils.  Things you use to write with.

I usually swear by rollerball pens and mechanical pencils.  Pencil sharpeners get messy, and I like rollerball pens because they feel fluid when you write with them.  (Not a huge fan of ballpoints...)

As far as specific models go...  I got ahold of some Pilot Precise V5 RT pens today.  I'd say it's about a medium size barrel.  They barely weigh anything at all, but they write NICE.  The pen I was using before that was a Uniball Vision Micro.  Those pens... they'd keep their point at first, but it seems like after I wrote with them for a while they would lose their point and start writing thicker.  Then again I tend to apply a lot of pressure when I write, so maybe that's to be expected.

A question which hopefully isn't against anything to ask, is Live-evil going to actually continue through with the series?  I understand the first commitment to the popular series plus Live-evil does have a lot of projects. So ultimately.., yay or nay? Is it possible to know?

As far as I know, it's yea.

OT: I didn't realize Live-evil is an all female sub-group! Mainly due to it being the first time I've visited their website. ^^"  Hmm.. the only sub group that I know of with all female-sub team would be Aarin-fantasy..
* retrograde inversion looks around

Hm, well, although the main staff on Wellber is indeed all female, L-E itself is not quite an all-female fansub group. Sorry to disappoint :p

So, in Episode 17, Nutal is played by Kiyoshi Kobayashi, right?

Yeah, it looks like it.
