I am happy i was able to enjoy this series, it's outrageous I had never even heard about it, here in Greece.
From what I hear, this was a MAJOR hit in both Italy and France as i was growing up. Pity i never got the chance to sail under the flag of Freedom as a child
Oh well, at least I got to see it now tho

This is my favorite anime now, I wish to thank you wholeheartedly. And I really mean it, the best show EVER.

Some highlights i especially enjoyed:
-in the opening, when the song says 'tomoyo..' it shows the Arcadia :/ When i realised, i got all melancholic *sniff*
-when Daiba shoots the flag, when he decides to join Harlock, I was like omg, they show such things on a 70's "cartoon"?!? Independent thought and anarchy when needed!!
-The whole episode regarding kei's past, i found it tiresome and I thought her 'fiance's art was bad... but the ending more than made up for it! It even reminded me of Kill Bill :O Am i weird?
