Do you rent anime and if so where? I remember back in the day blockbuster use to have an entire section dedicated to anime now it just has random popular stuff.
-
The last time i rented anime was back in 1996. O_o;
-
Back home, I would from time to time. The local comic book shop had an okay selection, including some Matsumoto stuff.
-
Here your anime choice (Video Ezy + Blockbuster, Western Australia) is usually limited to Sci-fi anime, like GITS .

There is a place here that has a huge selection of anime dvds. They have alot of the recent series that just came out on dvd. I have rented there many many times. They also have a huge hentai section which doesnt make sence but oh well. The funny thing about that too is that its out in the open so that kids can see it.
I havent rented there for about 6 months +.
I have over 600 anime dvds now so I guess you can say I am a rental store/

I rented a few things from Blockbuster before. I haven't rented any type of movie though in years.
I have been considering joining netflix though. They have a pretty large selection of anime titles there. It is just that I barely have the time to watch the DVDs I own, let alone any I may rent from there.

meh, our blockbuster sucks. they don't have very much, but they do have Jungle Emperor (the movie) and Hoshi no Koe, which i suppose redeems them. they've got some Miyazaki stuff too, but i have this weird habit of getting attached to anime that i'll never find in a blockbuster (samurai pizza cats, anyone?) so rentals aren't that high up there.
besides, i'm one of those people who really hates to watch the same thing twice in the same week, so the viewing of my rented anime is really only about two times per rental (once through in Japanese, and once through in English, if the dub is tolerable).
but hey, that's why i love l-e. C:
cult classics for the win.

Ya you need like a dvd rental place like here. Its called movie studio and they have a massive collection of anime. There hentai section is quite large also.
I stopped by there the other day and it feels meh to me now.
I own over 700 anime dvds now and still growning.
Here are the recent pick ups
Tsubasa chronicle dvd 1 with box. Very nice job on the box.
Black Lagoon limited edition. Comes with steal case for all 3 dvds and bonus dvd
Haruhi Suzumiya dvd 1 with box. Amazing box with tons of goodies. Recommend buying this limited edition box. Excellent job done on it.

I use netflix. They have just about anything you could want. I rented all versions of Ah My Goddess and Hack. and I'm starting a new one called Ai Yori Aoshi.
-
I rent anime through Netflix. They have enough anime there to keep me content.
-
well i don't remember very well BUT at the old movie rental place i used to go but have since closed, I rented hentai movies! all censored of course and i don't remember the names of any of them and the funny thing i was only like 15 years old or so and the guy at front let me rent them :D i don't think he knew what it was ;D
anyway i used to use netflix for about 2 years renting tons of animes but now fansub are the only "rental" i use. I still buy animes and mangas of course.
-
I haven't rented a anime in years.
I think its due to the fact that my collection is so huge I dont need to rent anime anymore.
1000+ dvds and counting

If only I could. We don't get anime in rental shops here in uk.
