Past L-E Projects / Re: Creamy Mami.....

There still are some of us out here still waiting for more Creamy Mami.

Its just getting hard to wait - 8 months without a new episode, and 4 months without a bit of news here. I know you folks have been busy. I also like the Yawara, Snow Queen, and Maetel episodes you've been releasing. But I'm hoping that the Mami logjam breaks soon.

The bit about the matroska splitter was the key for me as well. Without it, I was getting neither sound nor video with MPC when trying to play the h.264 file.

Also, the above comment about only checking h.264 formats during the install of the 2005-8-22 ffdshow also backfired on me. Unchecking the other file formats not only did not help me to see the latest maetel episode, it also kept me from viewing my other video files as well.

To reiterate what works: start with Media Player Classic, install the latest ffdshow (I just accepted all the deafult settings during the install), then install the matroska splitter (selecting the option to use it with .mp4 files).

Moving up to newer things is sometimes painful, but often worth while. I hope to see some more great stuff come out in this format soon.

While I don't mind getting a new codec to view fansubs, especially for a series as cool as SSM, my best source for quality codecs (sourceforge.net) still has the h.264 codec listed as a "level 2 pre-alpha version", suitable for developers only. Can somebody suggest a better source for downloading this codec so I can get my Maetel fix?

Three cheers to the new Yawara team! I'm so glad to see this project take off once again. Thanks to everybody who helped get this project back on track.
