You need to pay more attention darkfire. The special edition Harlock is based on CPF Tl's which have been tidied up a bit.

Yaoiboy is also slowly releasing batches of the original CPF Harlock as the special editions get finished. That was one of the conditions of being allowed to use CPF TL's.

My post was about the date released not about your use of the translation. I knew you had permission. I just wanted to state the fact that site does list its original fansub release date and that of other fansubs groups. I looked and it shows some release from elite fansub back from June 2001.  For the future if I'm accusing you of something or insulting someone I will say it straight out. But that won't happen as its against the forum rules.

A FANSUB IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE OR ELIMINATE THE NEED TO PURCHASE THE DOMESTIC RELEASE

Agreed. But im poor and get afford "legal" dvds. But I will get Tubasa Chronicles. After watching all the episodes back to back for 12 hours. I fell in love with it

Personally I like funimation. They were bad back during dragonball z. But lets remember, the first dragonball and dragonballz anime and movies. were dubed by Pioneer aka Geneon. Pioneer sold dragonball to Funimation. The censorship which people think was bad was during a time when people wouldnt approve of that stuff on tv. And it ran durring a time when little kid watched. It was syndicated as well. I rember it on kidsWB long time ago. So FCC doesnt like violent syndicated stuff now. But times have changed. America is in love with violence letting funimation be better with there stuff.
I will probably find a way to got tsubasa chroniles season 2 even if it means getting the HK subed from discountanimedvd.

PS. 4Kids is the worst dubbers ever. One Peice. Yugio GX, Naruto, Tokyo Mew Mew and list goes on and on

Leeching & Technical Problems / Re: [request] iPod formatted Tsubasa please
« on: November 02, 2005, 04:41:31 am »
Yet everyone ignores all my instructions. Live-evil you dont have to encode crap for anyone. The should download your original version and encode it themselves.
And yes you can encode it to psp and Ipod. I have. And I do it all the time. But you have to resize you the lancoz3 algrithim. Otherwise it looks crappy. And 20fps is good as well. It cuts down the file size as well.

12
the subitles were hard coded onto the video. Which means they are a permenent part of the video when you rencode the video it will sill be there. If the video had external subtitles, which live-evil doesnt do. Virtual Dub has a filter that allows you to hard code the subtiles onto the video during the conversion. In stead of asking question in the forums. Take some initiate and use google. All the information I stated was found during a google search. Also as i stated befor www.videohelp.com has tutorials on everything I have stated before. They also have a indepth tutorial for converting videos to Ipods or psp.

13
If anyone wants a psp or ipod version they should encode it themselves. If they cant do it, or dont want to learn screw them. If you really wanted a ipod version you wouldnt ask live evil to make one. Their are great guides out their that tell you how to convert the videos to every format availiable. try www.videohelp.com or www.doom9.org

General Forum / Re: Google Talk

I use google talk with gaim it also works with trillian. The only thing that doesnt work is the voice.

Use virtualdub get the h.264 codec. resize using lancoz to 320 by 180. Expand the frame to 320 by 240. go to www.videohelp.com for more info. Using my method there is no need for cropping
that is how it should look. It should be letter  boxed
