we've got the next few eps in the pipes, translation is done for 3&4 and I will be working on 5 shortly.
Once Tofu is done with GR, we will be taking on the beast tag team style.... or something like that ....

no we're not speedsubbers, but we are quite swift sometimes See WR we were faster and had more healthy vitamins in our diet than other groups...
The only reason that we cant really speedsub is that we all sort of have real lifes that take precedence, because they put a roof above our heads. or we are students that need to pass our classes so that we dont get in trouble with the parental units. something like that.

just so you know, i picked up translating ge999 due to the big man with the stick behind my chair. he has quite a grim look on his face as soon as i divert my attention from GE999. so expect a new ep soon. i finished tling 3 already. workin on 4 now =_=

@saya: You say that Kiyoko survived in that cocoon, yet En Kidu specifically said that a new man kind will be born from it, basically making her part of the plan. But that's an interesting point. Completely seperate from that... how is Kiyoko/Eve going to reproduce?! Or maybe she is a <dum dum dumm> hermaphrodite... or an asexual being that can just divide itself... Limitless possibilities!
And yes, the ending was rushed again. I liked the way WR did it. The 26th ep was good enough, but then they topped it off with 4 more episodes! Hats off to the WR producers.

well they didnt really blow up the world, it was more like evangelion where they do a new start. the at field in eva, absolute terror field, was there to make humans not be a pile of uniform goo and there to protect people from getting hurt. in gilg what they do is remove all sorts of emotions from humans as far as i can tell, becaues emotion is bad and allows for jealousy, as with the countess. so lets get rid of emotions, shall we? and the tuning fork... well I guess TEAR, the child form of the countess was the last remnat of human emotion and thus had to be finished off in order to complete Cleansing Flat. just my interpretations. still didnt like how it left a lot of things unclear and sort of random

Gilg 26 is totally fucked up. I am translating it right now and hopefully it will be out by tomorrow. Yes i did 25 already. my god, this totally came out of the blue. hmm reminds of another series, but I guess i wont spoil it for everybody. OH well we can discuss later.

As far as I can tell from the gilxx website it will be 26. There isn't any section beyond the 21-26 section in the preview. So as long as they dont pull a WR or (gasp!) an inuyasha, we should be expecting 26.

@83: man you've got valid points but woo, chill out a little. that high tension will give you ulcers, and nobody would want that, right? And don't crush my naive ideals of the world being a good place by telling people we don't care. I mean we do love everyone, don't we?
@immortality: Wow you're devoted, thumbs up! I consider that a compliment for our vastly superior work  hehe, even if it isnt, thanks for the being faithful!
@all: I am surprised that so many people have been following the show. As I said in an earlier post, I was rather ticked off by the long delay too, whatever the reasons were. But now we finally managed to get back up to normal speed, which is INSANELY FAST...    well, ok so maybe its not really insane, but rather appropiate. I mean it sounds like y'all are craving more gilgamesh goodness. As do I, I kind of fell for the series after getting into it a little bit. the later episodes are so cool. and the plot keeps on thickening like gravy. oh groovy gravy. can't wait for the next ep, heh and i get to see it before you

Well now the good news:
if nothing happens (knock on wood sideways) 12-23 will be release in oh.. a few seconds. I have also translated 24 and that should be coming out tomorrow or so. time to rejoice. sorry for the long dry spell people. but now we should be back to full steam and things should work out a little smoother now.  well the torrents should show up in a few minutes I hope. *knocks on his table top again*

Well you would think that the eps would be released as soon as they are ready. Doesnt seem to be the case though.   I am kind of pissed. I translated all the way up to 20 and now AF released before us again. GRR, I really begin to wonder why I am even trying to translate the episodes quickly if the rest of the fucking team doesnt do the rest of the work.  Maybe I will just quit...
Well no, its only 6 more eps :p Maybe I will TL 21 & 22 tomorrow. I'll have to see how I feel.

Ok so i may not be crying but I still really think that that's awesome. Didn't think that someone would be concerned. Then again I didn't know what's going on with the LE forum/site in the last month or two because every time I tried to access it, it was down  
But I suppose things are better now, new server and such. For my part, I am alive and kicking, in Germany.
If I drank beer I'd let out a rant about how good the freaking beer is here. But instead I will say: German chocolate rules!
