I'm on Vista and undecided if I should go back to XP or onto Windows 7 :-\
How about the rest of you?
Linux? OSX? XP? Win98? Win2k? Ubuntu? BSD? Debian? Microwave?

XP - Vista is way too slow and cumbersome; I want to control the OS, not the other way around...
As for Windows 7 I want to see it in action for a while first, but it is probably better.

OSX10.5 I will like it again once I no longer have to use the software COMSOL for my research.

XP baby,, on all my systems.

I have been using Vista for 18 months with no problems on the laptop or desktop. I have fixed errors right out the box with vista on other people's machines, however.
Ideally, I would be using Ubuntu with virtual box running Vista so we could still play all our games without wondering about pesky viruses or unnecessary trackers. I am , however, too lazy and now too busy to set it up properly.

I've been using Ubuntu for about 6 months so far and aside from some trouble with my video card in the beginning everything is great, I didn't had much Linux experience before and I'm happy to be learning a lot every day, I'm a computer geek though. I do run XP using VirtualBox for some windows programs that don't work using Wine (mostly stuff that uses the .net framework).

Windows 7 is best.Because it has better features then the other. And Windows 7 is a vast improvement from Vista as it takes up much less ram and has other optimizations such as fast booting times. I recommend Windows 7, and if you really don't want vista and don't want to wait for the final version of Windows 7, you can download a copy of the Release Candidate from the Microsoft website for free and use it up till June of 2010. I am working with the Release Candidate right now and so far I have absolutely no complaints, considering Im a heavy computer use with advanced software.

10.7 is better, esp. with the small animal accessibility suite add-on.

I'm currently running Windows 7 Professional Edition (64 bit) on my desk top. As of now, I can say that Windows 7 is the best Microsoft OS to date. Although, I still don't like Microsoft as a whole. lol
