beloculus recently showed me the first two episodes of Death Note and I was pleased. 
However, I struggled to read the subtitles at some points because of the white serif font used, even in the second episode when the subtitles were completely opaque. I would prefer a sans serif, "traditional" font for subbing it (yellow font with black borders really is readable) even though it's less pretty.
