Blue Mage & Tsubasa, I appreciate the detailed answers. I now have a much better understanding on how & why batch timing works.  I'm glad to see that the season won't be abandoned. I don't expect the greatest timeliness because volunteers have their own lives to take care of first.

I seeded DAQ's 1-26 batch for months on my university connection at the end of 2005 through Summer of 2006 w/ actual 300kbps upload speeds. I miss that bandwidth... I think the ratio by the time I moved was like, 40 I think? Anyways, I'll seed it some more now, though I've only got a DSL connection now (80kbps).

I suggest making a new batch of DAQ titled "[IDE&L-E]Detective_Academy_Q_Eps_1_-_34_[BATCH]".

I really would like to have all 45 episodes on my PC available for upload from IDE & L-E. Unfortunately the other batch is Shinsen-Subs for 27-45, and only eps 40-45 are DVD quality.

Is it a lot of trouble creating a new batch? At the rate L-E is going with subbing DOA, I don't think they should wait until the series is complete.

Does anyone have suggestions or criticisms to my idea?
